Most GS wins by four players

Djokovic had nothing to do with him winning three slams either. Just beat Djokovic EVERY time. Wasn't beating any other GOAT candidates every time he met them at a slam.

Did he not also beat Nadal at Australia 2014? Did he not beat Federer at French Open 2015? This is why your concept is ridiculous and absurd. He beat an inform Djoker twice in Grand Slams as well as Fedal, because the version of Djoker at US Open 2016 was definitely not in form. Nevertheless, even there Wawrinka beat Del Potro that year who is a better US Open player than he is. I would love to see how he beat Djoker everytime in a Slam too. His record 5-20.

"35 year old Federer" was not 34 yet.

Anyway, wins in Grand Slams over top-8:

2003-08 Roddick: 1
2013-18 Wawrinka: 14

But I guess Roddick deserves respect while Wawrinka the journeyman does not, right?

Wawrinka deserves respect. I think his 2014 AO and 2015 FO wins over Djokovic are the stuff of underdog legends.

2017 and 2018:

1) Nadal 23
2) Federer 18
3) Thiem 14
4) Cilic 13
5) Murray 12
Anderson 12
7) Wawrinka 11
Dimitrov 11
Carreno 11
Querrey 11

Total: 136

1) Djokovic 21
Nadal 21
3) Del Potro 17
4) Cilic 15
5) Federer 14
6) Thiem 13
7) Nishikori 12
Anderson 12
Isner 12
10) Zverev 10

Total: 147

I'll do this for other years too when I have time, I enjoy it.

Let's start with 2011 and 2006:

1) Djokovic 26
2) Nadal 23
3) Murray 21
4) Federer 20
5) Ferrer 14
6) Tsonga 13
7) Fish 10
8) Roddick 9
/ Berdych 9
/ Monfils 9

Total: 154

1) Federer 27
2) Nadal 17
3) Baghdatis 13
/ Nalbandian 13
/ Davydenko 13
6) Hewitt 12
7) Roddick 11
/ Ljubicic 11
/ Haas 11
10) Blake 10

Total: 138

I don't think anyone is arguing that 2006 was tougher than 2011. 2011 was much tougher than 2015 even if the top 10 wins indicate otherwise.

He also beat Federer (best ranking no.1), Nadal (no.1), Del Potro (no.3), Nishikori (no.4), Berdych (no.4), Tsonga (no.5), Robredo (no.5), Simon (no.6), Verdasco (no.7).

I didn't mean every time ever. This whole thing is based on a timeline and I'm not explaining it again. Wawrinka had Djoko's number and rode that momentum into a career changing run and you or no else can convince me of any different. Federer and Nadal have never trembled at the site of Wawrinka on the other side of the net. Wawrinka took three count em three slams and a CYGS from Djokovic. Who else was winning AO 2014?

Obviously, you have convinced yourself of this but it doesn't make it anymore ridiculous no matter how many times it is repeated. It would maybe have some credence if Djoker was the only player he was beating but he also beat Federer and Nadal, and other great players.

I'm not even a Djoker fan and I have to laugh at him trembling at the sight of anyone especially Wawrinka. What exactly are you trying to prove? I'm sure Djoker trembled everytime he walked out there and drubbed him 14 times in a row and I'm sure he trembles everytime he realizes he has a 20-5 head to head against the guy.

You seem like you are trying to find something negative to hang up on Djoker but this is just desperate.

Djokovic created a monster. Gave Stan belief starting back 2013 AO going 5 sets. Went five sets later in the year at UO. Stan wasn't having those kinds of results against top players. Finally takes Djokovic out AO 2014 en route to the title. Wawrinka had made one QF(previous years)at AO at that point. Three major QF(previous years) at the time. One SF with Djokovic. When he beat him at the French, Stan had made one career QF(previously) at the French. Lost in the 1st round the previous year.

Wtf are you on about? Djokovic created a monster? Wawrinka was a player with high level even before he won hist first slam. His game was always gonna be dangerous for anyone. He had all the weapons to be a GS winner.

What about this PEAK federer we are talking about in 2004 where he barely could beat Nadal on HC? He created a monster aswell I guess? What about Nadal winning wimbledon? Or AO?Who took part in that?

Lol, you don't realize how stupid you sound?

You don't have to explain anything, cause you'll just keep embarrassing yourself. Pure desperation just to have something to go at Djokovic. Is this all you got? LOL

It is what it is. Djokovic made Wawrinka. Say whatever you want.

Meanwhile, Wawrinka didn't make it out of the 3rd round this year of a Grand Slam and Djoker is just trembling along, winning multiple Grand Slams and Masters. Haha! Some people have no respect for the great Djoker.

The most embarrassing thing on this site is how all of you think Federer was peak in 2015 and 2017. That's what's embarassing.

Is there really much difference there? 2018 basically saw a worse Federer but a much better Djokovic. The rest of the field remained more or less the same.

It’s disengenuous and misleading to suggest 2004 Fed struggled to beat Nadal on HC.

2004 Miami 6-3 6-3 Nadal.
2005 Miami 2-6 6-7 7-6 6-3 6-1 Federer
2006 Dubai (fast hard even) 2-6 6-4 6-4 Nadal

Their first three HC meetings.

The start of Nadals monster career. What can you say, Federer gave him the confidence he needed. It is what it is. Federer made Nadal.

Nadals first Wimbledon title: 2008.
Nadals first HC major: 2009 AO.

It is what it is. Federer made Nadal a good champion on all surfaces. Say whatever you want.

How can you even compare Nadal to Wawrinka? Wawrinka is on the same tier as guys like Del Potro and Roddick. Nadal is an ATG who has won slams across all surfaces.

An equal comparison would be 2004-2006 Federer losing 3 times to a guy like Hewitt or Roddick and making them multi slam winners.

I have been surfing older threads on this forum. Not to take anything from Nadal's wins but Federer was actually ill during their 2004 Miami match.

LOL. C'mon man not the same. Wawrinka had been around forever. Nadal was already winning slams and making Wimbledon finals before 08. Wawrinka never showed any real signs until he started making Djokovic sweat every time they met until Djokovic was eventually undone.

It is the same. Just another player. Federer made Nadal. Wimbledon champ, HC major champ, you name it. He gave him alot of confidence.

Nadal hadn't faced years of losing then. He was a teenage phenom. Wawrinka was solid and a threat, but had spent a very long time struggling to win vs big 3 or go deep in slams. He chipped away at Djokovic and it made him feel like he belonged. Nadal never felt like he didn't belong. All he knew was success.

Nope. Nadal was already a clay ATG and multiple Wimbledon finalist with many good HC wins.

Speaking of "cherry-picking;" multiple Wimbledon finalist? Come on; that could be anyone not just Rafa! Hell even Ivan Lendl got there twice on the slick stuff! Nadal would have been out in the very first round if he had to deal with a less than homogenized surface!  :)
