Pure strikes have 8 mains in the throat just like the blade with extremely similar string spacing. I have both rackets and can easily switch to and from as they have a similar launch angle.
I haven't, but I've heard it's lower powered and also has a more open string pattern, so think the Rad would be more for you. Good pop and one of the most dense 16x19's you can find in a 98 inch frame.Have you tried Head extreme tour? I am actually between ET and Radical Mp at the moment!
I think this is true, but the ET has a more dense pattern than I think most realize. At least from memory, I think it's dense in the center at the sweet spot, and then more open around that spot.I haven't, but I've heard it's lower powered and also has a more open string pattern, so think the Rad would be more for you. Well yeah, low launch angle and not powerful is a remedy for getting owned in every bad defense or slight mishit. Thats why i will try the radical mp and i hope it will be more powerful than ET and Blade 16x19 v7I tried the extreme tour. It’s a properly nice feeling racquet, but is most certainly not very powerful. Launch angle is low, especially outside the sweet spot (half way up the net, low).
I agree with that. I found the ET to be pretty good on serve, especially. I didn't find it too powerful on groundstrokes, especially when compared to my gravity tours.Ezone 98 is on the more powerful side. Extreme Tour is less powerful than the radical mp, but more powerful than the blade I think. I now use Extreme tour as my main and would switch to radical mp if I find I’m lacking power. I like the feel of extreme tour and the radical doesn’t feel good on off-center hits and it has a small sweet spot due to its dense pattern, so I ended up owning both.
