Most powerful poly in 40-50 pound range

Hi all,

I know there's been so many threads about the most powerful poly but if anyone could lend their Intel that'd be great.

I'm looking for a poly that will give me similar levels of power to a multi or gut/poly hybrid strung high. I realise gut/poly is the premium for power but the expense and durability of gut is problematic as I'm a string breaker.

From my initial research I'm thinking Signum Pro Firestorm may be the best option?

Thankyou all in advance!

I used to put Luxilon M2 Pro whenever I felt my racquet needed a more powerful poly setup.

Another poly that has a lot of power--in fact, too much for me--is Solinco Tour Bite Soft. Loses a ton of tension, too.

Try weisscannon Scorpion
it has power and very good tension stability.

Just try stringing a little looser if you want more power. If you can't afford gut and you're a string breaker, but want more pop, the easiest way to do that is to lower the tension on your poly. Generally, strings that give you more power are going to have less control anyway, so find a string that you like and try dropping the tension to see if you still like it.

IsoSpeed Cream 1.23. I assume the 1.28m isn't much different as it got high marks from TW in power as well.

I'm currently using the thinner gauge at 46lbs and it much more powerful then the polys I've been working with as of late: Volkl Cyclone Tour, Yonex Poly Tour Strike, Technifibre Black Code 4S, etc.
