As we've got Zverev and Tsitsipas facing off again in Madrid, let's have a discussion on which next gen rivalry looks like it'll be the most enjoyable. You can use any criteria you want, including match quality itself, liking both players, or even meme material (you know what I'm talking about).

My vote goes to Tsitsipas vs. FAA. Both players have the potential to be consistent enough that we could see a lot of great matches between the two.

Other noteworthy (or potentially noteworthy) rivalries are included in the poll. You can vote twice.

Edit: Made mistake with the poll. You can vote three times, it seems

I voted for Zverev vs Kyrgios. They are like the less boring Djokovic vs Murray and the male version of Sharapova vs S.Williams.

Too early to tell. None of them have done anything to make me think I'll be watching them play on the biggest stages. The guys who end up on top when the dust clears could be entirely different, and I don't like any of their games enough to just watch them for the beauty. I'm looking for another Federer, Kohlschreiber, Becker, Edberg, Agassi, Guga, Sampras, Rafter, Cash, McEnroe, Lendl, someone whose game I find attractive, someone I will get up in the middle of the night to watch when playing on the other side of the planet. None of these kids have inspired me to that degree yet, and all of the other names I mentioned did at one point or another.

Federer vs Nadal

Can’t wait to see them play in the AO finals in 10 years
Where is Djokovic vs. Nadal at RG in 2025 ;)? Darn. Fed vs. Djokovic in 2026 SW17. Another darn.

I can only laugh at youngsters whatever you want to call them, the next gen or whatever. By the time the big 3 are gone, there will be some 'fresh blood'. I can only see Dominic doing something at RG but I'm not sure about that one either. Maybe Felix. God, help us all (y).

Whoops, I forgot!

@Meles
Hurkacz vs Zverev today was a surprisingly splendid match on clay.

The only established rivalry is Tsits vs Meddy over the last year and that's a great one.

One you don't have that has real possibilities is Thiem v Tsitsipas, particularly on clay.

The options in the poll haven't really materialized, but Shapo's win over Tsits in Miami.

OK, I was gonna say something but it was censored. I misread Tsisipas as something else. Gosh, you can't even use word t!ts nowadays. Kinda funny.

Shapo has played Tsits three times, 2-1 Shapo, once at a slam, AO.

FAA has played Tsits one time at the ATP level, 1-0 FAA at IW, but also 3-0 in juniors

I have a hard time understanding those that say that none of this group will emerge as future goats or a high profile rivalry. My bet for goat status - FAA.

Bencic vs Osaka
Sabalenka vs Osaka
Tsitsipas vs Zverev
Zverev vs Kyrgios
Kenin vs Andreescu
Barty vs Kenin
Andreescu vs Barty
Barty vs Pliskova
Tsitsipas vs Medvedev
Tsitsipas vs FAA (power dynamic currently in favour of FAA, strangely enough)

A sure bet.
