Who do you think it is? It was very hard to come up with the list on the poll, so I might not have players that you think there should be. Just vote "Other" if that happens. Take your picks:)

IMO probably the best player to watch that I've ever laid eyes on, he was the epitome of a tennis player's player. Unbelievable talent.

100% correct, the guy could do it all except keep it together upstairs. What a pity, a joy to watch, strong off both wings, great volleyer but his greatest strength was point construction, very clever. If he had Nadal's mental strength he could have become the best ever.

Haas, Nalbandian, and I'll make an argument for Monfils, simply because he is an extremely talented player, and I think had his career not been injury-ridden, his ranking and level of play would be higher.

Rios by far. When he was healthy he actually had the mind to play big when it mattered. His lost chance was that Aussie open final but a hot Korda could blow anyone away. When Rios got to #1 he started having some pretty major health issues. First was the arm, then back, then ankle etc. After that he was just burnt out. Marcello seemed to have the goods though when he was healthy. The final against Agassi in Miami pretty much showed it. He played lights out best out of five against a hot Andre to win the title and achieve #1. Just a great display of genius tennis and talent.

Nalbandian probably could have had one had he commited himself more. His body didnt hold up real well either though.

There are lots of guys though. Corretja probably should have won a French Open. Many say Pioline but he could be a little fragile mentally. Phenominal athlete and skill set Cedric had as showed with his slam performances getting to the finals or semis of Wimbledon, French and US Opens back when the surfaces were drastically different.

There are others but those are the standouts for me in recent memory. Rios was the most tallented of the three. I put Rios among the two most talented players ever along with McEnroe. Rios probably edges out John in that reguard. John was a better competitor throughout his career though.

Thread title should have been, Most CURRENT/ACTIVE player today never to win a Grand Slam. Obviously because you didn't everyone's going to pick "other," your poll options are pretty bad.

Not to mention this thread's only been done, what 20 times maybe?

Among current players maybe Gasquet should be mentioned. Talent wise he is waaay up there. I dont know where his head is at right now though. I still have some hope for him.

Very poor poll as most of the most talented players never to have won a slam are not even among the choices...nearly everyone had to pick "other." My vote is Rios.
