The usual slow ones are amply represented I see ;-)
I remember that Safin run in 04 well. That was crazy. He was spent by the final.

Number 19. 5 matches in just less than 19.5 hours. Damn.....

About four hours per match on average... That's heavy!

Cred to him for reaching that far playing five four hours matches. Thats some serious thing.

More telling would be the stat showing the least time spent on court for someoone who played in all 7 matches (especially if they went on and won the whole thing).

Kulti had his marathon run to the quarterfinals in 1992. Three five-setters, including an 8-6 final set against Chang.

Niklas Kulti, will always remember him for that Davis cup match against Boetsch, had 3 consecutive trophy points and lost. Must have hurt being a Swede that day.

I vote for a thread to be made about this.

I'm surprised to see the 09 AO not there for Rafa.

From memory, I'm pretty sure he breezed by everyone up until the Verdasco semi. I remember the commentators positing some ridiculous thoughts about how Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic were trying to "send statements" to each other by walloping their early round opponents.
