I apologise. If there's one thing I hate, it's missing a joke (seriously, I can't stand spoil-sports).You missed the joke![]()
After Connors right? His 93–4 record and 15 titles record of 1974, right? Or McEnroe's 1984?I've given Djokovic lots of props for this. It's on the way to being the second best year of the Open Era.

After Connors right? His 99–4 record and 15 titles record of 1974, right?
Ah f*** my memory man, all I'm seeing is formulas from statistics swirling around at the moment LOLDefinately not 2006, he was down match points to Roddick and dropped the first set to Nalbandian. His overall form at the 2007 YEC was better, he just happened upon a GOAT'ing Gonzalez.
Nah, brah! Connors' 1974 record of 93-4 is far more impressive, especially when you consider that he also won three out of four grand slams in that same year. He's probably have won the French Open had he been allowed to participate.I was thinking Laver's 1969. I'd have to look more closely at 1974 but if Djokovic goes undefeated for the rest of the year in terms of big titles he'll surely have won more than even Connors in 1974 I would think.

I'm of the opinion that Federer at his best is better than Djokovic at his best everywhere. I simply value Federer's all court arsenal of weapons more when he's firing on all cylinders. What Djokovic has is a higher average and more consistent top level on slower HC's and maybe also clay.

What's happened to Berlocq these days tipsa? Did he retire without me hearing about it? Not seen him play in ages.Bastad: Berlocq 2013
yeah I know Soderling 2011 but a bit suspicious
Declined due to age, playing some challengers, but pushed Gasquet to 5 sets at the French open! What's happened to Berlocq these days tipsa? Did he retire without me hearing about it? Not seen him play in ages.
NoNo love for Nalbandian at Madrid 2007? He beat Berdych, Del Potro, Nadal, Djokovic, Federer.
I don't know. Phillipoussis seemed to handle him well before he retired.Sampras Wimbledon 99 deserves a mention(haven't seen it yet, sorry to the ones who might have mentioned it already).

marcos wasn't too far...Murray Olympics 2012 deserves a mention I think. Obviously not too many to compare it to, but he was superb that week. Nobody was beating him that week.
2011 according to Djokovic fansSeems like tennis only started a few years ago.
