Any clay courts ?We have been exploring Boise ID, and I am FLOORED at the number and quality o tennis courts in the city and around. CRAZY number of amazing, well-kept courts to play. Haven't got to get into the tennis community to see just how much they get used, and the quality, but gotta think with that much coverage it is popular and thriving.
Anyone from Boise area?
I have only been looking on Google Maps and Earth to scope things out, but only have seen HC so far. But serious, like every park there has at least a couple amazing courts. Here is some of the mapping I had been doing, and this isn't even exhaustive yet. This is just the first pass I did in some area.Any clay courts ?
Boise Racquet club has a couple, I think 2.Any clay courts ?
I generally recommend people to stay the eff away from California.I would avoid living too close to nuclear reactors, nuclear waste storage sites, and previous test sites.

Hollywood and the downwinders still grapple with nuclear fallout
The US turned swathes of desert radioactive during the cold war and denied it, bequeathing a medical mystery that still haunts Hollywood and rural Mormon communities and raises the question: how much do you trust the government?www.theguardian.com
The nuclear test site was in Utah.I generally recommend people to stay the eff away from California.

Thanks! I had not heard of this before. Luckily, the population is not that big in Simi Valley, but I'm surprised there are people living there at all. Like me, they probably don't know about its past.
The only real issues with living in Boise (assuming you want the 4 season experience) are the lack of nearby ocean and the Idaho state government.
What do you mean by infrastructure of the government and programs? If you want some somewhere you can have four seasons while retaining the familiar desertscape of Arizona I do think Boise naturally rises to the top of the list. I just personally could not tolerate things like cannabis illegalization any longer.Actually, those are two reason I am moving there, 4 seasons and the government. Or at least the infrastructure of the government and programs. The political scene...don't care.

I'm pretty sure if you stay in Boise you can pretend they're not there. The downside would be the nazis

Yeah, more upper Idaho near Coeur d’Alene, but will be an odd state for politics and people overall.I'm pretty sure if you stay in Boise you can pretend they're not there.
I have still heard Northwest Nazarene University (in Nampa) called Northwest **** but it is true the real concentration is in the panhandle. At the end of the day though that's not stopping a lot of other reasonable people from moving to Boise so no need pay it too much mind.Yeah, more upper Idaho near Coeur d’Alene, but will be an odd state for politics and people overall.
