Murray v Thiem should be interesting. I'm hoping for Dom to make a return to form, but I also like Murray so won't mind if he catches out Dom at the very beginning of his comeback. Interesting to have the three players on the comeback from injury play each other. Obvs Murray has been back for a while, while Dom and Rafa are just coming back. But Andy's also had the most serious injury. Hard to know what to expect from these matches (even before factoring in that this is an exhibition).

Shapo- Ruud is a great match up imo on hard… I like watching both. Murray-Thiem intriguing too, esp. w/ both on comebacks w/ Nadal next.

I think Shapo shouldn't have too much trouble with Ruud, but you are right about Murray-Thiem match. A lot of factors at play.

Shapovalov was playing great against Fritz. A lot more composure than usually. Great win. 6:3 6:0. He seems to have gotten over his erratic playing style and steadied his shots quite a bit. We might se a surge from him in 2022. Really impressed..

Murray had pretty much disassembled Evans in two sets (6:3 6:2). Evans had some crazy points, returning everything, but Murray was just better.
