Multi recommendation for 2020 Yonex Ezone 100

Turbo-87

G.O.A.T.
I am not a player who has racquets strung all that often. With past racquets (Wilson Blade v7 and RF97A), I have been using Wilson NXT Comfort 17ga. I am curious if people have experience with the 2020 Yonex Ezone 100 with a multifilament string? I originally had Yonex Poly Tour Pro 125 strings, but as I understand it, you only get 10-14 hours out of that setup. It seems like a lot of people prefer poly strings for this frame. I am not a string breaker and tend to play for several months without a change. Is Wilson NXT a good choice for the characteristics of this frame?

FWIW, with a full bed multi you will get similar playability as your Yonex Polytour Pro set up as the multi will lose tension in similar timeframe and will eventually become a rocket launcher. But it will be more comfortable than full poly.
YPTP has fairly decent playability characteristics for its lifetime so I would keep playing with it if there are no other issues.
If you want to switch to multi you can try some full bed lower power multi's like TF Multifeel or even Head velocity.
I have not tried the TF HDMX or Triax but hear good things about them but $$'s

Third option to have best of both worlds and do a hybrid of Velocity/YPTP.

I used solinco 16g multi in my ezone 100 @ 60lbs. Very comfortable string IMHO I just break it within about 2-3 hrs of play so I’m switching to a poly hybrid. If you’re not breaking a 17g string now I’d give the 17G solinco multi a try and if you want a little more durability go with the 16g.

NXT is a good string so if you like it in another frame I say install it in the Yonex too.

If I was going full bed & had my choice of any premium multi I'd probably use NRG².

But NXT is solid and you're familiar with it so I say use it again.

fwiw, I haven't found a Yonex frame that I like so I'm not factoring in any specific characteristics of the frame. Other than that it's a Yonex, and they all feel boardy to me (tho I haven't demoed the VCP line yet.)
