Multifilament/synthetic gut hybrid

If I were to hybrid a real nice multifilament with something Like Gosen OG to keep the price down, which do you think would give me the best combination of spin and endurance:

1. Biphase 17 Mains/OG 16 Crosses
2. Biphase 16 Mains/OG 17 Crosses
3. OG 17 Mains/Biphase 16 Crosses
4. OG 16 Mains/Biphase 17 Crosses

I'd have to thing that OG 16 in the mains would give me the most durabilty. But would I be "wasting" the Biphase in such a setup?

Do the crosses have any affect on spin?

If you are going to pay all that money for Biphase I'd definitely try it in the mains.

Not sure how it would sort out durability wise, but #1 would be my pick for the place to start - the 17g main should help your spin production, and 16g cross would give more durability. But my guess is that the durability of the 17g multi main would be your weak point and so the durability 16g cross probably wouldn't come into question during a test...
