Murray is the best player in the world

Djokovic has ended every single year ranekd higher than Murray. Djokovic has never had a career losing record vs Murray. Djokovic has had better slam results than Murray every single year.

Yep,fair point.

Djokovic has always been a far superior player to mopey Murray.

Always?? I guess someone must have forgot to remind 'mopey' Murray of this when he beat 'always far superior Djokovic' in straight sets at the quarter-finals of the Canadian Masters in 2008 and then so far forgot his place to have the cheek to do it on the next two occasions they met at the finals of the Cincinnati Masters a month later and again at Miami in 2009! Agreed,Djoko has proved far superior this year just as he has to pretty nearly everybody else!

And dont even get me started on Federer or Nadal, Murray isnt worthy of kissing their feet.

Woe,what a disgrace it must be to Federer to have lost 8 out of his 14 matches against a player who 'isn't worthy of kissing his feet' and to Nadal to allow himself to be beaten by His Mopiness twice in Grand Slams (2008 US Open semis and 2010 AO quarters).Tsk tsk tsk!

I doubt Djokovic is losing any sleep about losing to Murray in a couple past Masters matches when he has continued to be ranked higher than Murray, continued to outperform Murray in slams, and thumped Murray in embarassing fashion in their biggest ever match. If you want to focus just on head to head which is a poor way to compare players on its own anyway, Djokovic leads the head to head, has always been tied or ahead in the head to head, and is the only one who has handed out bagel or breadstick sets. Djokovic has ALWAYS been a better player than Murray, not just this year. Murray winning an occasional match changes nothing about this reality.

Who cares. They played two matches that really matter and Murray got destroyed in both. Not to mention one has 16 slams and the other has 0. Not to mention Murray has played only about 2 matches against Federer in his prime.

Murray preserves his head to heads against people like Federer and Djokovic from being worse than they are by losing to guys like Wawrinka, Berdych, Gonzalez, Verdasco, and a slew of others before the semifinals of slams.

9 slams to 0. Almost the same age. And since you love this head to head thing, Nadal has a huge lead in head to head and even leads the head to head on only hard courts I believe, the only surface Murray can even hope to ever beat Nadal on since the idea of it happening on clay or grass is laughable.
