Murray has been funny since the injury like flying all the way to New York to enter the USO draw based on no match practice beforehand and against the advice of his own team and withdraw the day after the draw.
Flying to Brisbane in January to play only to withdraw and have surgery in Melbourne.
Enter Wimbledon, despite saying he would only enter if fit, only to withdraw two days after the draw was made and the day before the tournament began. At least this time he didn’t mess up the draw.
Now flying to China to play two tournaments- a 250 and the other 500 and then end his season.
It makes sense to him I suppose and he is the CEO of his career.
Of course, everyone's comeback particulars are different, and I hope Andy can return to top-level tennis again.
He's not my favorite on the court, but I think he is a good guy, quite witty off the court, very dedicated to the game, and and an obvious first-ballot Hall of Famer.
