Chela walking forlornly is indicative of him being sent shortly afterwards to the dungeons for his poor showing!

pure gold. you in this thread, and zagor in the other.

that retreat seems to have done you a world of good :D
Thank you, dear Senti. I feel so pure and full of celestial energy. And seeing the glorious Muurya gliding around on one foot like an elf is extra soothing.

Murray Chelaing and Chela Murraying!

Both have now Troickied.

Muzza broken three times in a row now and back on serve.

Murray breaks! And the rollercoaster continues. Wonder when Chela will break back? Early enough to get the lead back and choke it away? Or later when Murray chokes serving for the match?

I thought Murray was injured...Is he just playing mind games?

Good 3rd set from Andy. Looking forward to the Nadal match.

Could be amazing if Murray takes it to him, although I still peg Rafa as the favourite.

Murray was fooling around for three sets. He could've triple-bageled Chela had he put his mind to it. He's just too good for these kinds of contests. I pity the poor Conquistador on Friday. Cmon!

i hope this hasn't broken his rhythm. anyway, poor rafa doesn't know what's going to hit him come Friday. Even his epic best won't be good enough for htis fighter and warrior.

Murray one step closer to his first slam. You heard it whispered here first.

Lol I thought Sodimy was supposed to end Rafa's run today!

Face it Rafa has only lost one match on clay and he has since stuffed that guy twice at the French! Murray has made the most of an easy draw, but was lucky to get through the first set today and Trociki handed him the mother of all chokes yesterday!

Rafa will barely lose games

And he's only stepping on one foot. One foot, one arm... Murray is it.
:)

There was never any doubt that Murray would win this match. He stepped it up when he had to. Killing Chela's first serve with blistering forehand returns, pulling him to the net with dropshots and jokingly putting away volleys. Hitting nine aces.

Remember Monte-Carlo. Murray had Rafa on the ropes and his arm was in a sling. I'm sure it will be a tough match on Friday but if Andy's foot is okey I think he will win more than games. :)

mixiep, i knew one could trust you to keep a secret. ;)

There were plenty doubts.
Chela played really well and gave Murray a hard fight, and the ankle didn't seem to hinder him too much so it wasn't because of that.
The comentators were correct in saying that Chela was no walk over as many people thought, and would be a tough opponent, and if Murray was not on form could find it very difficult. And it was difficult.
I was very impressed and surprised at how well Chela played.
Respect for him.

The result was very much in doubt with Murray down a double break 1st set.

Monte Carlo Murray lost 6-1 final set, that is now having someone on the ropes in ANYONES langauge!

Murray has lost 10 out of 14 matches to Nadal and all 3 on Clay!

Foot injury or not (and I think he is fine for the record) he is going to take a pounding from Rafa come Friday just hope you have the tissues ready.

I'm going to enjoy your emotional breakdown after Murray inflicts a 3-set beatdown. You seem like a cryer. I hope your a cryer, that would be good.
