They have met 19 times, and Djokovic leads the head-to-head 11–8. They have met in nine tour finals, including four at Grand Slam tournaments, with Murray leading 5–4.

They are 2-2 in Slam finals. Djokovic won both their Australian Open finals, whilst Murray won their US Open final and the Wimbledon Championships final.

Djokovic has won both of their matches on clay, Murray has won both their matches on grass, and
Djokovic leads on hard courts 9–6.

Who's going the lead the H2H when all is said and done?

IMO, Murray troubles Djoker more than Rafa does. Don't have stats to show for it, it's just that Murrays game, I feel, disrupts the flow of Nole's rhythm and will eventually have the upper hand in the end. The same can be said of the Murray vs Fed match up

Despite being a Murray fan I think it will be Djokovic. Although i expect Murray to win the big slam matches I think Djokovic will win most of their masters matches.

Murray will. He will win all their grass court matches and Djokovic is good enough to make the semis of most grass events so they will still play fairly often there. On hard courts they will split, or Murray win slightly more. On clay they will hardly ever play as Murray isnt good enough to even reach the semis often. Murray probably wont pass Djokovic in slams so the last laugh will be Djokovic's in what matters, but Murray will probably pass Djokovic in head to head and close the slam gap from what it currently is.

Actually, Murray is 3-2 v Djokovic in Masters finals (would have been 4-1 if he hadn't screwed up no less than 5 match points in the final of 2012 Shanghai).

Although Novak is a great fighter it is annoying how so many people choke against him. Murray choked that match you refer to. Federer lost to him twice at the US Open after having match points, and of them a 2 sets to 0 lead. Wawrinka choked badly vs him at the U.S Open. Troicki choked a big lead to him at the U.S Open a few years ago when he made the final. Nadal choked silly at their French match this year even though he won anyway.

I know he is a fighter but he isnt anymore of a fighter than say Nadal, and he has even more comebacks than Nadal does. Guys choke against him constantly and I dont get why. It happens way too often.

Some players obviously have a "give up" mentality, in that if they don't see any way to win the match, they let the flow continue to drift into Novak's direction.

Wow everybody choking against Djokovic! This guy is lucky *****!!! Lets forget the fact that, for example, against Federer at USO 2010 and 2011, Djokovic hit three amazing forehand winners on MPs.

Currently it's 11-8, kinda hard to predict who's gonna dominate the rivalry in the long run. I think they'll be playing 10+ more matches. As of now, I give slight edge to Murray after straight setting the Serb in Wimby final. But Novak is capable of making a comeback in this rivalry.

I think Djokovic will because but he is riding on the lead he built up early on and I think he will retain that kind of gap 2-4 matches but from here on in I think the actual head to head will be pretty even.

Not really? When Djokovic is down, he often goes for broke, and it often works.

The fact is, if all or most of the rest of their matches would be played on grass, Andy would easily have the last laugh...

HOWEVER, this is the real world where grass is played barely a month out of the year. Novak is honestly the better all around player between himself and Andy physically, but most importantly MENTALLY! We have all seen it time and time again when Andy can get seriously down on himself. It's just who he is.
