In 2011 Nadal was trounced repeatedly when supposedly near the peak of his powers on the only two surfaces that were helping him get out of the clay courter cliche.

It has NO relevance whatsoever to what happened later, as what happened later was followed by more domination from Novak and total disappearance on Nadal (thanks to Djokovic).

2011 started the beginning of the end for Nadal and it was a slaughterhouse.

Now, given you admit djokovic was at his peak those years it seems from the above that Nadal owned djokovic like his personal bunny!

On all surfaces bar grass where they didn't play. After 2011the fact Nadal turned it all upside down and was clearly the dominant player in the majors quite clearly 2011 adds to nadals legacy. Think it through it isn't difficult mate.
