One love - Bob Marley

The One - Slaughterhouse
One Night In Bangkok
(not only shares a name of the UK's Number 1 player, and that player's racquet of choice...but also, the singer is a tennis fan who once performed at a tennis exo at Paris-Bercy).

This has got to be one of the funniest memories I have from high school: INcredibly cheesy hairgelled friend of friend with Loverboy concert tee, jamming to equally cheesy tune at the Valentine's Day dance. I still remember the guy's name and if I did facebook, I'd look the kid up. Probably a successful gynecologist by now. [no offense meant to gynocologists, I'm just playing off a stereotype from a very topical Van Halen video]

I know Lenny takes a lot of heat for being shamelessly derivative, but this song JAMS, especially at the end. I think that was his first single (as far as I know) and I saw him in concert that year, opening for the Cult.
Need Your Love So Bad- Fleetwood Mac
Back when Peter Green was with them, and they put out quality music.
I Wanna Be Bad - Willa Ford
Casting Crowns - Who Am I
I Fought the Law - the Clash
I Still Believe - The Call
Believe - The Chemical Brothers
Believe It Or Not (from The Greatest American Hero)--Joey Scarbury
A little history--I remember this song being all over the radio in the 1980s, and I kind of liked it even though it was overplayed. Looking up the performer, I was surprised to find that it was the theme song for a TV series that I was never really aware of and that the writers and performers of the song were nobody most of us have heard of. It had that real Top-40 kind of sound, I always assumed it was one of the big pop bands of the era (whoever they were.)
Loved that song and that show..it used to always put me in a good mood. I think the song was sort of a "one hit wonder". Here's the show's intro. It was pretty funny and entertaining.
