Anyone know what was the name of his string he used on tour ? I know it was a iso speed string but I’ve heard some conflicting info , anyone know what was the actual string called and what gauge ? Is it still in existence ?

If not , what’s the closest current offering from iso speed ?
Ps . Also anyone know if it’s true that he did a reverse stencil ? /// meaning instead of stenciling the symbol he colored the string around the stencil instead ?

Awwww hah!! Thank u sir !
I was hoodwinked and fooled to believe that it was discontinued ! I love the pro 17 regular not the classic as I can’t remember what it feels like ? Is it close to the regular pro 17?

Tried to compare the 2 on TW string compare tool but no good They don’t offer the regular pro 17 to compare.. Dang! Anyone know the difference ? I would love to know as I want to buy a reel of whichever is the better for comfort and spin :) according to TW string compare tool . Iso pro 17 gets like 1.6 in spin which is like nothing . Strange because I get more with it than I do any co-poly? Maybe I’m a weirdo but man it’s staggering how much access to spin there is

I have tried the non classic version as a cross string with Tour bite mains. It did add a little softness and power at the expense of spin potential. No free lunch.
The story is that Isospeed developped the Isospeed classic specially for Thomas Muster who came from Austria too.
The difference between the classic and the more recent pro version, the latter being prestreched.
For me the lack of spinpotential is a deal breaker. Maybe i try it again as the mains in a hybrid. Anyone tried this?

Yes that is true, the Kneissl star logo was left uncolored while the strings around it were painted black. No one had black strings back then.

The classic bugged my elbow but it was a nice string. The newer version didn't do much for my game.
