At the moment, I think you need to do some work on its design and layout. The first post "Pain is only temporary but victory is forever" is very hard to read, as its all over the place, and has lots of pictures randomly spread around. As Duzza said, pictures are good. However, you need to organise them.

Personally, I'd also be more interested to read more about what the people in the academy get up to, how they train etc, rather than Tennis news. I can get Tennis news from lots of sites, but how many sites can I get a first hand infomation about how future tennis stars are trained?

Just a few suggestions. Keep up the good work. I voted for Bagdhatis btw.

From what I read seems the blogger's 2nd language is English.

Yeah, I presumed so too. However, when I meant it was hard to read, I meant that it was because of the layout. I like text to be in nice orderly paragraphs. Placing the pictures where they are at the moment makes it look like a mess, and I almost didn't read it because of that.

Ceejay, thanx for your comments:D

1. As for design, if u meant just only photos, I will try to organise them in future. And it will be more easy to read.

2. U r right that it would be more interesting to know how future tennis stars live and work at the academy. I will write about it ;) That's why I asked there, what people wanna know about us and our life at the academy. And u've just suggested. It is great!!!!

3. As for me, I'm from Russia. U see, english is my second language, I live in Spain at the moment, everybody here speaks spanish. So I hope, my english is not so bad:rolleyes:

Hey everybody!!!

Today I would like to write about Summer Stage. Summer is coming soon. There are so many people coming on Summer Stage. I remember, when I came to the Summer stage in 2005 it was so funny, It’s a good chance for people to see our academy and maybe you can change your mind to be a tennis player or you would like to go to completion programme (to be with us). I decided to spend my summer in Spain, so I came to the JC Ferrero tennis academy.

Kirill,

The thing I think a lot of us like to learn is specific tips and bits of technical advice (this section is 'tennis tips' afterall?) It would be fantastic to hear some of the things you've been taught, the present-day Spanish coaching tips on such as fh, bh, serve, etc. I really think this would be a highly popular addition to your already informative and generally very appealing blog.

Hey everybody!!!
21:03 Spanish time, hehe, I am writing our blog. I would like to write about our life in this academy: our tennis practice and physical training. Ok let’s go.

You know, tennis is strange thing, when u watch it, u think, what’s so difficult in this sport, just hit the ball. Our physical coach says: Court is so big and u, guys, can’t hit it in the court. Sorry, man, its life. What u see, its wrong, just try it. In our academy and I think in all academies in Spain, we work more on Spanish style.:bounce:

This is just the kind of thing I think will be liked and appreciated. How you are taught, tips, advice, etc, from Spain - fantastico! You realise that the Spanish methods are quite unknown to the rest of the world? More of these glimpses into how you train please!

And if I have one small tip of my own, it's to really try and get your English writing to an even higher standard - but please don't take that too badly - you're doing a brilliant job, but maybe you could use the help of a very good English speaker/writer? Whatever...

Muchas gracias!

(Sorry Kirill, my Spanish is very bad - and my Russian doesn't exist!)

BTW, which Spanish and Russian football teams you support?

In 1995 I have been to Spain, Barcelona. We stayed at CAR Olympic center where ITF Worldwide Coaches Conference was held. We had a nice time, nice tennis food, but my room-mate from Singapore used to snore so loud that I could not sleep in the night. Great experience!

Kirill,

I've just read your latest blog properly. Please ignore my earlier instruction to improve the level of written English. What is lacking in this area is more than made up for by the charm of the peice.

Hi!
Have a look the interview with Pedro!:-D
.....

-Can u compare Spanish tennis and American one? Any specific tips?- Clay Vs hard court. From what I have seen, I believe American tennis focuses much more on technique than Spanish tennis. I don’t really know but if I had to pick one thing from each one I would pick conditioning from Spain and psychology from USA

Hey guys!!!
How r u? Its me, Kirill and today I’d love to write about history of this academy. I was thinking about this idea, but I didn’t know details. Yeah, in official site you can read about it but I’d like to write more about JC Ferrero and Garcia Lopez. And just about life here. It was a Saturday evening. Many stage people came here for one week and for me it was the very good gift. With all these people was our friend Javi. And I had a chance to ask him some questions about history. He told me very interesting things that I did not know. Ok, guys, get ready to read history of our academy.
......

One more thing I would like u to do for me: ask me questions about JC Ferrero or Garcia Lopez’s past. Or some questions to me. Lets talk a little with u, guys=).

Hey everybody!!!

I'm a blog-maker for one week for www.itftennis.com/juniors . Ok, last Monday we started the preparations for the tournament "the Campeonatos Internacionales Junior de Tenis de la Comunidad Valenciana"24 Apr to 28 Apr 2007. Last year the tournament was on hard courts now it's on clay. In the Academy a new office was built, where all players come to sign-in for the tournament. Everything is well organised to a very high level. Alot of people have come, to play the tournament.

Hi Kirill,

Good to see you're still posting. Thanks for the update. I hope you have a good tournament and good luck with the blog as well.

Actually I was wondering about something: what racquets do you all use? What's popular out there in Spain with you academy players? What's your choice, Kiril? Or are you just all sponsored and therefore are happy to use whateveer you are given? As you can see, I'm a bit of a racquet obssessive! But I'm interested in the whole issue of racquets and what aspiring pro's like yourselves are using. By the way, any personal details like what racquets you personally like and the qualities you look for, as well as what weight you like, do you lead it up (and if so where and how much lead tape) - etc? And what racquets would you recommend for 4.0 baseline players (2hbh, consistent if not very strong serve)... anyway, enough of the questions for now...

Cheers amigo... have fun!

Hey, you post pretty interesting questions about the rackets.
Ok … the most popular here is WILSON. :D So many people are playing Wilson rackets. For example, Tommy Peric he is 400 ATP. He is using racket of Federer. Everybody started to play with new models.

Other racket, which I'm using and some other people, is babolat :D (official racket of Andy Roddick). I like this racket pretty much. Its 315grams and I use strings Pro Hurricane. I'm the one who play that racket. Other players prefer 300 grams Babolat.( new model). I can tell u difference: Wilson racket has much control and babolat - more powerful racket with a little control. Its more easy to serve with this racket.

Other racket is Head.:-D Now in academy some players play Head prestige flexpoint. And some people started to try new racket of Head (Ljubicic and other players are using this racket).
All players have the style for rackets. For example, if you are a baseliner player. I think Tecnifiber,Head, babolat, Prince (aero) is really good rackets for baseline. If you are a player who use more power. Its good to use babolat, yonex, head and some models of Wilson. If u are more control player, you prefer playing on baseline, do passing shots and sometimes go to the net. Wilson, prince and maybe Yonex. That’s it I think. If you have more question. I can ask on them.

Bye and goodluck

Hi Kirill,

Thanks for the latest update, and I hope you had a great birthday (and I also hope they let you celebrate with one or two cevezas!) By the way, I really enjoyed the 'No strings' film about Ferrero and life at the acadamy, and generally I think the standard of your blog is very, very good indeed.

Now then, as you guys are all of such a high level and receiving such fantastic coaching, I hope it's cool to ask you some more questions?
This time I'd like to ask about the 2-handed backhand.

Could you tell us 5 tips or 5 diferent things for good 2hbh technique? What are the kind of basics or fundamentals that you or the others are taught to focus on at the academy?

A belated 'Happy Birthday' to you... and by the way, I don't know how much you look at this Talk Tennis forum, but yourself or your academy friends might want to check out "This is the Babolat Alliance calling!" in "Racquets" section some time. It is a very silly and comical thread that is less a fan club and more a place for like-minded 'tennis bums' to joke around and, well, talk total and utter nonsense!

Adios!
