In June my daughter joined the Craig Jones tennis academy at Idle Hour Country Club in Macon GA.He runs a no nonsense intense academy that has around 25 kids ranging in ages from 8 to 18.He is an incredible coach that really knows how to motivate and get the best out of kids.My daughter loves him and so do the rest of his students and their parents.I just wanted to share my situation with my fellow posters and let you guys know about a GREATcoach that we are lucky to have.

Craig is a great coach! I have played at Idle Hour in numerous junior events. A few friends have that I went to high school with went there and all play college tennis! May I ask how old your daughter is? For all I know, we may have played the same event before :lol:

I have a cousin that is moving to Atlanta and plays tennis. She is going to be Norcross ( I think thats how its spelled)
She needs a place to practice but not an academy just a local place. Any suggestions?

What do you mean by "not an academy, just a local place"???
There are several academies in that area. I don't know of any just local places...not sure what you mean.
But there is TAS at Hudlow park that has some good kids and Racquet Club of the South in Norcross to name 2.
