My favorite strings

Solinco Confidential 1.25

This one really seems to have the best spin out of any strings I have used

TruPro(Tier One) Black Knight 1.27

This has a pure feel/pocketing that I don't get in most polys, and seems to last for several hours

Luxilon Alu power 1.25

The first day it's great, really great. +power and ++feel, but gets sticky and launchy pretty fast.

Restring Sync 1.25

Somewhat like alu power, with less feel, power, and pocketing. It's stiffer than Alu power. Seems to have more action/spin. Lasts a hell of a lot longer, and the consistency/graceful aging makes it easier to have confidence with it than Alu P.

Luxilon Natural Gut 1.30 mains, Alu Power Rough 1.25 crosses.

By far my favorite. It ages gracefully and consistently for quite a while, a couple dozen hours before the strings stick and performance falls of a cliff.

The feel and power is unmatched by any other setup that I have used, and the gut strings slide quite well on the alu rough, even strung at 60/57.

What are some of the string setups y'all like to use?

If money was no object: 1.30 Lux or VS Gut crossed with 1.25 Lux 4G. Perfect setup for me, but I only get 6-7 hours before the gut breaks so this is can’t be my regular setup.

My usual setups all in the middle to upper 40’s:
1.28 TruPro Pure Rush/1.22 Ghostwire
1.25 Lux 4G Soft/1.22 Ghostwire
1.30 Tourna Big Hitter Silver/1.22 Ghostwire

Subtle differences between the 3 setups, but I can play them pretty interchangeably at this point.

I've used GW with BK. Hell I've used GW with most strings. It's seems to help the mains impart good action on the ball, while keeping the power level high

I still haven't found anything drastically better for me than Lux 4G. String it in my Blade V7 either 46lbs flat, or might drop a few pounds between crosses and mains.
