My Head Ti Radical sounds too dampened, did I lead it up too much?

I just strung my 'new' 2nd-hand Head Ti Radical mp for the first time with Big Banger Alu Power at 27.5 kilos.
I was expecting a very crispy response combined with a loud booming sound from the Alu Power strings, as I experienced in the past.
But not much of that happened.
Could it be, I lead it up too much?
I put on 4 strips of Unique leadtape, cut into pieces of 6 inches.
On top of that I have 4 strips, half the length, plus 4 very short pieces of leadtape.
In the handle I have about 70 % of the above mentioned amount of leadtape, all combining about 25 grams.
My racquet should be something like 335 grams.
Would you think all this leadtape dampened the sound of my racquet or did I string it up too high?
