No. I was in Ft. Lauderdale for the USTA annual committee meetings all weekend, and I didn't fly home until 5 pm yesterday, so I went down to Key Biscayne for the morning/afternoon to see lots of friends, and watch a little tennis.

Cool. I visited Ft Lauderdale back in the late 80s when I was a fresh faced young Stoker in the Royal Navy - it was a pretty nice place.

Nice one woodrow! I was lucky enough to attend this tournament last year as I have family in Miami! Beautiful event and venue definitely plan to go back next year.

You ex-umpires live the good life

I'm still an umpire heavily involved in USTA officiating, especially in NorCal. I just don't work as a chair umpire in pro tennis anymore. :-)
