Hard to say Nadal was dominating when Federer dominated the first four sets except messing up BPs as per usual.

Overall points won: Federer 174, Nadal 173
Dominance ratio: Federer 1.02
Through 4 sets: Federer 158, Nadal 144

Even AFTER a 6-2 final set in which Nadal won many, many more points than Federer did Federer wound up winning the dominance ratio. You don’t see many matches in which a player handily loses a fifth set 6-2 yet wins more points overall as well as the domiance raTio.

Now Nadal deserved to win, but Federer outplayed Nadal overall over 4 sets only to be tied in sets.

Wow, interesting stats. What my eyes saw was Federer losing crucial points, blowing leads, losing winnable rallies, being outrallied and outhit to his FH side by Nadal's BH. That's being dominated.

While Federer definitely isn't winning 25, the hilarious thing is this was obviously seen as outlandish talk at the time, and obvious trolling, but it wasn't as ridiculous as it seemed. There is even an outside shot Djokovic reaches 25 (I doubt it but not impossible) and Federer being arguably more talented than Djokovic, it could have happened for him if certain things had gone differently.
