lol this is me rallying with my friend. We were joking about a bit...haha it was funny. Anyway, any tips ?

What i noticed is, i get a bit lazy sometimes with my feet and that my forehand follow through sometimes isnt full when I am rushed but most of the time when I play matches, I don't use my left hand to catch the racquet anywhere near as much in this video, I would followthrough more through seen in some shots.

It's so weird cos this is the first time I've seen myself play on video before. So any tips please?

And this is the first video taken at the beginning, just a view on the other side of the court.

Not to be an *******, but its much easier to judge if you buy a 10 dollar digital camera instead of using a cell phone and giving it to a friend who can't hold his hand straight to save his life.
Also, this might not be the opinion of the whole board, but i find that camera angle highly annoying because i can't see your shot very well (consistency, spin, depth)

Anyways, you look like you have decent fundamentals, but you are being a bit lazy as you mentioned. You need to recover after shots, and after you make a shot, you can't just drop your racquet to your side and start walking.

there is a lot to like about that FH.
You look to take the ball on the rise pretty well too, but hard to say from that angle.

Sorry about the view..My friend came and i just asked him to shoot it with his fone. About the laziness, when I am in a rally does it look like I'm lazy then? I don't want to really make an excuse but my friend is really inconsistent and his shots would go really hard, then average or hit the net and go out a lot. I don't really get a good average speed to work with. So when he hit those slow balls, yeah i saw i was lazy like walking to it.

And also lol, my friend doesn't like running so I'm hitting most of the balls back to him and with those short balls, I wouldn't really run up to them and put them away because I just wanna rally with him.

Thanks, anything else noticed?

Mate, stop wasting peoples time and your own. If you want feedback on your strokes represent them properly otherwise what is the point?

Dude I'm sorry for wasting your time but I've never seen myself play before and my friend just came and I asked him to video. My friend is funny and it was supposed to be fun and so that you could see my basic technique...so why are you so serious and couldn't you just gimme some tips or something?

I understand that mate - it's just that it's a bit pointless giving tips when you aren't playing seriously. In fact it's misleading as it may not reflect your true strokes or technique, so any analysis may well be counterproductive.

I certainly didn't mean to come across as dismissive..

With a true effort there are some brilliantly informed posters here to help.

And it doesn't help if you act like we owe it to you..."Just gimme some tips or something". We don't owe ANYthing to you, so don't demand help.

Its counter-productive to say, "How am i doing? I'm not trying though, so just imagine me as i do try and rate me then", because that makes no sense and is impossible.
*cough* grammar helps too *cough*

Dude what's your problem seriously? I said 'couldn't you gimme tips or something?' So you could give me some or not, I'm not really demanding as you put it 'just gimme tips'. I told you my friend just came and I asked him to film and it was supposed to be fun..

"How am i doing? I'm not trying though, so just imagine me as i do try and rate me then"

Where did I say this? And I didn't want anyone to imagine me when I try my best and rate me. I just wanted some tips on my basic technique? What difference is it going to be with my technique when I am trying? I would just be more alert and move my feet more and my technique would be pretty much the same, so I just wanted some tips on my strokes if possible..
