My Wilson racket - help!

from that group as a beginner i'd say the six one 100, the others may be a little unforgiving for your current standard. Plenty of other frames that would suit better from wilson & other tennis brands. Personally i'd go to a specialised tennis store where you can get some advice & hit a few demo's

ProStaff 100 has a tiny sweetspot, ProStaff 95 little power, and ProStaff 90 is even more unforgiving. SixOne ain't much more forgiving either... If you want to stay with Wilson, try the Blade, Steam 100, Juice or similar tweeners. The latter two may be a bit too powerful though.

Thanks guys I appreciate your help! I'll definitely look into both ProStaff 100 and the Blade, Steam & Juice ranges. Thanks again! :)

Thanks a lot for all of your advice. I checked the Wilson range, and found the Wilson Six.One 102UL BLX racket, weighing in at 249g, with a 16x20 pattern. It's got a larger sweetspot, too. Would this be any good for me?

249 unstrung or strung?

You lost me, are you talking about Wilson BLX Pro Lite?

Or Six.One 95L?

The best thing is to demo it for a couple of days at least...Most tennis stores will allow you to do that, even TW I think.

It's this one: http://www.tenniswarehouse-europe.com/descpageRCWILSON-W102UL.html?vat=UK

And the weight is strung. Thanks. :)

Nay, it's 264g strung. And that's very light. In fact, it's much, much lighter than your current racquet by about 50g. Your Strike is listed at 295g unstrung, while the 6.1 102UL is listed at 249g unstrung.

I strongly advise against the ProStaff 100 which isn't forgiving at all for a 100in² racquet; its weight also is lower than your Strike by about 10g. These are the frames I advised you to demo. Made a tiny mistake, it's the Steam99 not 100. But 99 without the s, because the 99S is a different model.

The regular Blade98 might be a bit hard to use due to the quite high inertia despite the weight. However you still can try the 104in² version if you want.

This is the 6.1 95L. Not for everybody.

Since you can only demo 2 racquets at once, here's my order of what you should try first.
1) Steam 99;
2) Blade 104;
3) Juice 100;
And much lower:
4) The rest.
