This is an article from around a week ago: http://www.russiatoday.ru/sports/news/12221 Myskina begins new career in TV As some of Russia's top tennis players prepare for the U.S. Open, and others are more concerned by Russian Premier League football. Anastasia Myskina, the first Russian woman ever to win a Grand Slam, is using her time off court through injury to develop a new career. She was the first Russian woman ever to win a Grand Slam at the French Open in 2004. Anastasia Myskina has won over $US 5 MLN on the Women’s Tour and helped Russia to back Fed Cup titles in 2004 and 2005. But recent injuries this year have seen her adding a new string to her bow - as the anchor of NTV's football show. And she is already proving a hit with her new colleagues. “Anastasia has come in to bring us a new audience. She is working hard and learning really fast. It’s good to work with her,” Dmitry Fedorov, programme editor and co-presenter, says. After recording the show she took the time to talk to Sport Today about tennis, television and her rumoured retirement. To watch the interview please click the grey VIDEO button on the right.
