I said earlier that minor tournaments played shouldn't be looked at too deeply.
They are generally used as warm-ups or to fill a gap in a schedule. Or sometimes played if the tournament is local or whatever. I don't care how many mickey mouse clay tournaments Nadal plays, nor does Federer, Novak, or Murray. I didn't start a thread about it.

Exactly. Nadal doesn't really pad his resume with ATP 250 clay tournaments like Fed. Fed has 3 times more ATP 250 clay tournaments than Roland Garros titles. What a legend!

I stated that "Fed doesn't lose to scrubs" as reasoning for why he might have won more atp 250 events despite not entering many. Another reason is he is 5 years older.

Not necessary, if Barcelona and Stuttgart are "mickey mouse" so is Rotterdam, Dubai, Beijing, Tokyo, Basel, the list goes on... They are ranked the same on the ATP tour.
The last 250 Nadal played was in 2005. Federer played Estoril in 2008.

Mickey mouse tournaments are anything below masters. I agree that those are also mickey mouse tournaments, which is why I stated in my initial post that the important one's for top players are slams, masters, and the WTF.
Even if they weren't, Nadal played Chile and Brasil last year (both 250s) at the ripe age of 26.

Why do you keep asking me these dumb questions? I have stated repeatedly that mickey mouse tournaments don't matter. Fed is 5 years older. No one researches who has more mickey mouse titles or plays more mickey mouse tournaments. I offered reasons as to why Fed plays the mickey mouse tournaments he does and you can't seem to grasp that.
