Nadal can beat Federer to win Wimbledon!?!?

They are the worst sporting supporter group I've ever encountered in my life. That includes the Essendon football club supporters which is REALLY saying something.

90sclay used to call them "the worst fanbase in all of sports" lol

As opposed to VBers during the CC season, a picture of humility.

It's quite possible Fed won't reach the finals, nobody should take anything for granted when it comes to a 36 year old pro. Of course, personally I'm always careful about writing off a champion.

i'm over here being like lord please don't stretch that back out and bounce out in r2. i never trust gramperer anymore.

He knows how to take care of himself but at that age/mileage obviously even with perfect preparation something can go off, just the way the sport is.

That just shows his inexperience. One of my best chidhood friends was/is a leader of one of football hooligan groups, I'd never characterize any subset of tennis fanbase as worst in all sports.

yeah not too many violent tennis fangroups lol

Pfft as if Nadal would have a chance against someone outside the top 100. Have you not seen the rankings of the players he's been losing to at Wimbledon since 2012?? And you call yourself a pro...
You're right, let me change that.

No because Federer is ranked.

He certainly does and if it's any slam he is going to be careful about I know its Wimbledon but dude is also prone to mistakes a la Montreal last year

Wouldn't bet on it but anything's possible. Never write off the Nadal or his draw making powers, I expect to see Gasquet and Anderson in his quarter. Wimbledon grass was pretty high bouncing last year, will probably the same this year (or worse).
Don't need to worry about Nadal yet. I'm more concerned about other players in Fed's draw until the final at this point.

From what I heard, Fed's preparation before Montreal last year was quite poor, that's why he got injured in the first place.

Fed has prepared much better for Wimb, so not exactly the same thing.

I think that is the first quote of your post that I do in month(s).

You may want to look up what "following around" means.

"cow's arse" = exquisite comparison!!!

That's because I don't waste my valuable time anymore by posting on here and dealing with people like you.

Back when I used to, you'd regularly try me and in the process, embarrass yourself by posting contradicting and wrong crap about this sport because you don't know a thing about tennis.

He will also have Delpo and Busta in his half/ quarter. And Fed will have Kyrgios, Raonic, Querrey, Dimi ,Cilic in his half.

Nadal would need a new coach who can teach him grass court tactics. I don't think Moya would help him much outside of clay. Although Nadal has won 2 Wimbledons, he seems to not have the same speed he once had. Maybe he should go sleeveless?

Federer won't even reach the finals this time.....Fedfans getting too cocky

Don't get this. Even if it were true (and maybe it is, though many rational Federer fans that I know always acknowledge that he's 36 and could get served off the court on grass), wouldn't you say Nadal fans are the same or worse during clay season. Don't pretend like it's not true to suit your agenda. Everybody can see that coming from a mile away.

If Nadal can incorporate 40-60% serve and volley, take the ball earlier, go for broke more often on grass:

it will allow him to end matches faster, preserve his body (knees), and hopefully with an easy draw make the final.
Lying down and taking a nap between serves will also preserve his body and make him fresher for the second week, although the matches will take a tad longer. :D

Not really and Nadal has always been a greater lock to win RG than Fed has been to win Wimbledon

I've never understood why Rafa doesn't try S&V on grass. He is really good at the net.

He's excellent at finishing points at the net after yanking people around with his monster FH, that's not the same as volleying and being a target at the net. It's somewhat out of his comfort zone.

He'd have to train whole season specifically for that with no guarantees of it paying off.

Rafa's already beaten Fed to win Wimbledon - just needs the USO for the Fed slam.

Djoker has the Rafa & Fed slam, Fed has the Djoker slam.
Fed needs wins over Rafa at RG & USO to win the Rafa slam.
Rafa needs a win over Fed at the USO to win the Fed slam and a win over Djoker at AO for the Djoker slam
