How dare you to question Nadal return??
He is much better than you think! He will win RG with ease!

Last week I wrote that he looks a bit rusty in a practice session.
Result? I've been banned from 'Nadal News 2.0' thread, my post has been deleted and some Nadalfans called me 'a di**head' and 'a MOFO'.

My guess is he’s aggravated something again and the recovery is not going to plan overall. My guess is we either see him at MC and he’s undercooked and loses very early, or we don’t see him until Madrid again

Nadal's being cautious and not giving anything to the press. There was a clip of him hitting the ball. Someone posted it on this forum. He looks alright based on the clip.
He might skip MC and probably go for Barcelona. I don't think he'll bother with Madrid since those conditions won't prepare him for the conditions in Paris.
Rome is the most likely.
He can breeze through the first week of RG and play into form. But his draw will be crucial.
He needs to be no less than 100% if he's got the likes of Alcaraz, Tsitsipas, Zverev, and Djokovic in his way.
This could be the most open RG in almost 20 years where several players have a chance to win.

That’s a rather one sided version of events. You wrote on the forum that you intended to earn yourself a ban from Nadal News to go with your bans from Djokovic and Federer news. You then deliberately went into Nadal News to bait. and got banned. No one called you names in there. Stop with the victimhood, it’s fake lol

Your lack of sense of humour is really impressive.

I hope he recovers to play at Monte-Carlo, tennis needs top players in the mix.

As for retirement I think the Clay season/Olympics in 2024 is a possible bet.

That's because Nadal overly dramatizes his absences, which have been rather prominent in the second half of the year.

This time the situation appears more serious to me but who can tell where his injury is at until he plays as Nadal is an unreliable source.
It's amazing how people here fail to grasp the concept that injuries can heal with time off. The only over dramatisation comes from the people who fail to understand that concept.

Reporters always want a definitive date. Rafa is quite correct to play his cards close to his chest because if he says he'll be back for Monaco and then isn't, it'll just generate a flurry of disaster rumours. It's a case of wait and see.

True, that's actually a pretty good way to determine whether someone is actually injured.

1. Did the player performance suffer?
2. Did the player require time off?

If the answer to both of these questions is no, we may not in fact be dealing with a real injury
