Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
'What does he have that we don't have?'
Nadal fans classy as always.
Vamos Brigade is getting ridiculous. Just a bunch of clueless trolls.
I know, and Clarky has the gull to compare Nadal fans to other fans. I know each fanbase has their trolls, but for the most part when Djokovic fans go hyping up their guy it's usually in response to Nadal fans who constantly make these insecure blanket statements like "Nadal IS the GOAT" or "Nadal > (insert player name here)" or "Nadal wouldn't have lost to this mug". It's Nadal this, Nadal that. It's over the top!
Waaaaaaaaaaay over the top.
Oh please, cut the crap. Like you don't go to every other thread and try to insult Nadal in any way you can. Even when you don't mention him you're insulting him.
Like in one thread that said that Nadal and Djokovic aren't pushers, and you specifically said Djokovic isn't a pusher, and obviously implied that Nadal IS a pusher.
Or in another thread when someone said Djokovic could join elite company by winning 4 straight of a specific slam, you quoted him but specifically took out Nadal's name from the list in the quote.
And once again, these are instances of you insulting the man without even mentioning his name! This doesn't include the hundreds of times you do directly attack him.
And you have the audacity to go around criticizing the "vamos brigade"? You are by far one of the biggest haters on here. I think it's hilarious when you try to act like a victim and push all the blame to Nadal fans.
LOL those are not insults. I just don't care about Nadal to mention him in that context. Anyway, sorry but you are wrong, I never insult Nadal or anyone else.
Vamos Brigade on the other hand do that all over the board.
You're so full of it. There are only a few Nadal fans on here(Vero, BZ,) who say garbage like that. Most of the awful posters on here are either Fed fanatics, Fed fanatics who have jumped on the Cvac bandwagon, or Cvac fans. Nadal and his fans take a lot of crap on this forum, and it's obvious to anyone who doesn't have their head shoved firmly up their rear end.
And I bet you wouldn't be complaining if every thread were a Fed or Cvac praising thread now would you? You just can't stand Nadal getting any credit for doing well right now. You're pathetic.
You're in complete denial, and at this point it's not even surprising. Your comments are the finest examples of narrow-minded fanboyism.
Look, I'm going to end this bickering right now. Forget my join date, I've only recently become regularly active, given my work situation is up in the air right now. Since I've become more active, I've seen a ton of Nadal threads and I've seen a ton of posts that bring Nadal into a discussion he has no business being in (like the Serbia/Canada Davis Cup thread). It's highly annoying and I've been pretty vocal about that.
That being said, if the same thing was being done by Federer/Djokovic fans before I was active here, or it's being done now and it escapes my attention, I apologize for pointing fingers only at Nadal fans and will make sure that I call Djokovic and Federer fans out when they do it because it's annoying, whoever the player in question is. I just honestly haven't seen threads that have NOTHING to do with Djokovic being derailed by Djokovic fans. I really haven't. It seems like it's always a Nadal fan popping up and randomly saying something about Nadal.
Fair enough, but believe me, Nadal fans don't even come close to being the main problem around here.
Nadal is now a combined 22-7 in slams against Djokovic, Murray and Federer.
So what are you doing on this thread?
Oh please. To imply that Nadal fans are always the ones goading is patently absurd.
Seems like everyone is against hate and hipocrazy, so I suppose it will stop right now.
Nadal is the only player to have won all of the following:
1. Grass Slam (Queens-Wimbledon 2008)
2. Clay Slam (Monte Carlo-Rome-Madrid-Roland Garros 2010)
3. Hardcourt Slam (Canada-Cincinnati-US Open 2013)
4. Channel Slam (Roland Garros-Wimbledon 2008)
5. Multi-surface Slam (Roland Garros-Wimbledon-US Open 2010)
Nadal is the only player to have won the major warmup events and the Grand Slam on Grass, Clay and Hardcourt.
He is the only player in history to have won 3 Slams on 3 different surfaces in a single year (Multi-surface Slam) and has also won the Channel Slam (Roland Garros-Wimbledon).
The ATP World Tour 500 series (previously known as the Grand Prix Super Series, ATP International Series Gold and the Championship Series) is the third highest tier of men's tennis tournament after the four Grand Slam tournaments, and the ATP World Tour Masters 1000.
.............. It is mandatory for leading players to enter at least four 500 events, including at least one after the US Open; if they play fewer than four, or fail to play in one after the US Open they get a "zero" score towards their world ranking for each one short. Rafael Nadal holds the record for most titles won from this series.
He never won AO-IW-Miami slam and the real hardcourt slam AO-USO.
Djokovic (2011) and Federer (2006) won both in the same season.
You are clutching at straws. It's nice of Rafa to leave some crumbs for his friends to pick on seeing he's got so many records.
Who cares? Nadal has won FO, Wimbledon and USO (3 different surfaces) in the same year like nobody in history. Also, Federer's 2006 is better than djokovic. Stop associating Federer (17 times major winner, arguably GOAT) with your 6 time semi-loser idol..
lol. I see you're still crying over the fact that Nadal has more than double the amount of slams as your idol even though they are almost the same age?
Federers recordbook is not really a straw.
This poster always spells Djokovic's name using lowercase letters, while all other player names are spelled correctly. How can anyone have a reasonable discussion with such a hater and a troll.
Just speaks about a sad state of his/hers/its state of mind.
Not straws at all. These are better and more significant than the most listed for Nadal here.
It's funny reading these threads. When Nadal has been on, he has been nearly unbeatable, but he's not as consistent as Federer was during his rather long run at #1. They are very different achievements. Federer was just unbeatable by anyone not named Nadal for years and never lost a match he was supposed to win. Nadal has lost several matches he was supposed to win, which makes me think his vaunted "mental toughness" isn't all it's cracked up to be, but when he's on no one can stop him.
He may be the "on my game" GOAT. He just isn't the GOAT. Being GOAT, for me, means he has to win ugly, and he has demonstrated over and over that if he's not feeling it he is prone to losing. That just didn't happen to Federer when he was on top. Realize how great Nadal was/is that he could beat Federer when he was at that point in his career when he made it to him. When he didn't, he would have likely lost to Federer because he wasn't at that level, but we'll never know. I think there's more to their head to head than match-up issues. I think it has a lot to do with Nadal's game - the match was always on his racquet.
as long as the crumbs rafa has left have not just fallen out of his underpants during one of his bottom excavation extravaganza's.
I'm referring to Chico's warped arguments.
With your blinkers on.
The thing is, Nadal dominates all the players from Fed's 'TMF' days so they weren't much of an opposition. Yeas, Rafa loses sometimes but who doesn't. He absolutely dominates the top 30 and beyond. What more do people want from Rafa?
Well, you never know. That would be such fun.
Just pointing out that Rafa has weaknesses too, and they're right there in the stats. Does he have to be perfect? He's not.
Nadal won Canada+Cinci+USO, which Djoker/Fed have never done
The sad thing for you Chico is that there was no trolling in Incognito's post, read again everything he (she?) wrote was reality / facts
Rafa is doing great. He just doesn't have a resume like Federers, yet.
Well, it was almost factual, and almost not offensive toward Chico. Look (emphasis added):
Firstly, it's an absurd claim to suggest that Roger's 2006 year was better than Djokovic [career]. That is not a fact. Roger won 12 titles in 2006 (a remarkable year!). Djokovic has 37 singles career titles.
Secondly, That's incendiary language.
And finally, there are plenty of other reasons to be a player's fan other than the aggregate math of their career accomplishment relative to other players.
I guess it is compared to Djokovic' 2011.
Separate names with a comma.
