Moral victor does not get boos from the crowd, no?:confused::confused:

The moral victor isn't measured by Federer fans booing becuase their hero got knocked out. It is measured by sportmanship and skill. Nadal playing on despite critical injury was one of heroic endeavours in the history of the sport will always be remembered as "Nadals Heroic Victory Over a Nobody at Australian Open 2014."

Heroic endeavour my arse! He was caught cheating by the tennis literate crowd and got booed...

Just be glad they don't boo him every time he gets illegal coaching and wastes time on important points...

Despite devastating back injury NADAL fought on. He even took a set off of Stan despite his crippled state. NADAL truly showed the world what FIGHTING means.

Stan could only BARELY beat a crippled and lethally injured Nadal. If Nadal wouldn't have had his serious injury he would have crushed Stan.

Stan didn't deserve this trophy.

NADAL is the moral victor of Australian Open 2014. He was the best.

Game, set, match, slam NADAL.

Spot on!

Nicely done! Getting 100+ post on a troll thread, where you even post outright false information such as the above. Who won the AO?

LOL! Let's suppose that Fed lost to Rafa in AO final as he did a few years ago, and some Fed fans wrote "moral victory", what would he have got from you guys? total BS, right? So, why now? BS is still BS, no matter what.

Why do you not agree with your own idol? So you are not really a fan of the Nadal then?

This is from his moral victory speech:

26 Jan 2014, 9:22pm
Nadal manages a smile. "First thing I want to say is many thanks to Stan, you really deserve it," he formalities. "We have a great relationship. Bad luck was against me today but you really deserve it, so many congratulations."

"Nadal Last thing that I wanted to do was retire. I hate to do that, especially in a final. Same time, is tough to see yourself during the whole year you are working for a moment like this, and arrives the moment and you feel that you are not able to play at your best."

"I knew I had no chance of winning (the Australian Open final), but I had no intention of retiring. It was the worst hour and a half that I have spent on a tennis court," Nadal told the Spanish radio network Monday night.

Nadal knew he had no chances of winning period. Stan broke his back!!! Stan broke him. He knew he will lose when he saw Stan beat Djokovic. No doubt of that at all. The only reason Stan lost a set was that it was his first time in a slam final and he was nervous. Nadal is a coward and a fake and his worshipers are sad and we should pity them.

Roland garros is proving that Nadal is the greatest and will be remembered as the moral victor of 2014. No one remembers who got the trophy in australia but we remember nadals performance.

So very true. Tennis Australia must surely be reviewing that match carefully and coming to the conclusion that the match points in that match actually belong to Nadal, and were so won by the latter. He should expect a trophy shipped to his home on Mallorca any day now.
