30-30 it is. Hopefully Djokovic will meet Nadal at Wimbledon so he can take the lead again.

Reverse StrongRule. This is our only hope

No, this is too dangerous. We don’t know what this secret weapon can do.

Nadal should comfortably take out Matteo and Zod for #21.

Far from reality. He was unplayable last year. This time more and more cracks getting visible in his game. 2011-13 Djokovic would Beat this Nadal.
Did you see the last 9-10 games of the match. That's 1978 Borg level right there. Simply spectacular level from Nadal.

I know this is a jinx thread. But....

....Diego woke up God Mode Rafa by winning that set. The last 6-0 Bagel set by Nadal was virtually flawless. If he goes into the semi-finals with the form and mood of today's final set, it will be an ugly outcome for whomever his opponent is.

I want Djokovic in the semis to be honest. Time to even up the overall H2H and make it 11-6 at Grand Slams.

I'm afraid Nadal woke up too early. I'm sure he would like to have an easy win, and then save some gears for Djokovic. But he was forced to peak too early, and might not have anything left.

Problem is you have to take 3 sets from Nadal. Thats an Impossible task unless he stinks the joint up like 2015 (Hes has lulls and bad dips in play but not consistently) or you hit some god mode level and keep it (Which is also almost impossible) .

If only Gulbis were in this, these firm courts are absolutely made for "The Claws of the Eagle" forehand.

Nadal looks to be in an awesome form, but I would like to know how he feels when he wakes up tomorrow morning. Recovery would be most crucial at this stage.

Who says he peaked? He could still play better against Nole if required I believe

He beat Diego in 2hrs and 30 mins including a bagel lol. Logic is 105-2 8-B
For 6 straight service games he made Schwartzman look like Sampras on serve. So how in your opinion is he going to return Djokovic's bomb serves? Seriously, stop being overconfident. If Nadal didn't up his level in the third set he would have lost today. And now I'm afraid that he was forced to peak too early in this tournament, and now he will not have anything left.

If Djokovic actually have a decent tactical plan, and not making 3297398283 mistake, and play aggressively and have a good time on his serve he had all the chances in the world to beat Nadal. While last year results was quite strong, Djokovic missed every BP opportunities as well as every game ball opportunities he had.
If Djokovic is clutch he had all the chances against anyone on Clay.

I quoted this comment. Now don't say you aren't overconfident. He almost lost to Schwartzman but is going to beat Djokovic? Nice logic, dude. Nice logic.
What were you thinking when Nadal lost sets to brands and Klizan? What did you predict for the SF in 2013?

After MC 2013 final I was obviously expecting a loss. I knew he has the game to beat Djokovic, but not the mentality. And I was right. He lost the second set after being up a break. Lost the fourth after being up a break twice, including serving for the set. (a repeat of the second set in MC). That almost turned into the biggest nightmare of his career. I still don't know how he won it after choking so much.

So trust me, I don't want a repeat of this match.

Jesus I can't keep up with the Nadal fans trying to reverse jinx the win and then Djokovic fans trying to counter the reverse jinx with their own reverse jinx which is then returned back by Nadal fans in a double reverse jinx 360 spin off the roof with a Mallorcan Moonball only to be returned by Djokovic fans with a 360 gluten free tweener reverse jinx

Who will win this battle of the titans?

It's like watching a prime Murrayvic match with these long rallies

Why don't you have any faith on Rafa. How many times has Rafa disappointed you at RG. Only once vs Soderling as in 2015 it was expected. Just try to keep faith on the guy. He is 105-2 for a reason. I can understand your pessimism in other tournaments but at RG it is ridiculous.

Better say why some "Nadal fans" like @MichaelNadal are still overconfident in something. After AO 2014 they should have learned, don't you think? Nadal was NEVER such a big favorite in a slam final. He faced a guy who didn't even win a set against him in 12 meetings. I wasn't here back then, but on other forums some of them were overconfident. And he lost it. He got injured and lost. How anyone can be overconfident in something after that is really beyond me, especially when he has to face Djokovic, his toughest matchup.

After that MC 2013 match I think Djokovic is the favorite in all of their matches by default. Nadal can never be trusted to beat him, for sure not in BO5. Federer was beating Djokovic in BO3 in 2014-2015, but could not repeat that in BO5. Same thing might happen to Nadal. He (barely) won in Rome, even got breadsticked. I don't trust him to win 3 sets against Djokovic in one match.

AO and RG are polar opposites. Again how many times has Novak outperformed his Rome result at RG. I counted only 3 times so Rome is not a very good indicator of what happens at RG. BTW I think only Nadal has won Rome and RG in the same year. Maybe I am wrong.
