really cool to see them play together. i think they will win
Do we even have a schedule? When are they supposed to be on court?
that's great. I would love to see that.
Cool! When these kind of single players pair up it makes doubles much and much more interesting for me as I don't know a lot of doubles players that well.
They should be on court now, 10:30pm local time.
Does anyone have a stream? I can't find any stream at all for the Brasil Open. Streamhunter. eu usually has them all..
That's great to see, Nalbandian's variety paired up with Nadal's doggedness.
First set to Nadal/Nalbandian 6-3
Supertiebreak right now, it's going to be a close one
whats with these supertiebreaks in doubles now ?.
i noticed them at the olympics doubles..2sets if one all, then supertiebreak..are all doubles just 2 set hit and giggle matches now ?
11/9 Nadal/Nalbandian. #Game
Nadal/Nalbandian beat Andujar/Garcia-Lopez 6-3 3-6 11-9
..wasn't it always like that? Or maybe not always, but for as long as I can remember, so for the last couple of years.
Only at the grand slams do they play a real 3 set match. No idea what happens at the Olympics.
Maybe it's because they want the doubles to be a fast and exciting match. Doubles isn't as popular as singles and I don't think people are willing to watch and enjoy a long doubles match as much as they would like to see a long Nadal-Djokovic match for example. Nobody would like a 5 hour doubles final in a grand slam.
Wow, his knee is killing him so much, he has to play both doubles and singles
Today against Zeballos again...
you must be right, i dont look at doubles much.
Spin of Nadal with Nalbandians incredible angle shots and down the lines. They should play togeteher more often. Would be fun to watch as a nice contrast to the usually double team's robotic, power game.
Looks like Nalbandian/Rafa gave their opponent a walkover. Nalbandian went three sets today, so maybe he wanted to bank energy for singles.
Nalbandian backhand + Nadal forehand = Destroyer!!!
Rafa better not double fault or Nalby will kick him on the hoffitis
i think the doubles is good for nadal... if he can add net play and touch to his game he could become very interesting to watch...
nadal as an all court player?!
You forgot to throw in Nalbadian's mental strength.
I see he's withdrawn from the doubles. That's sensible. Don't know why he was playing singles & doubles on his comeback.
