Rafa starting serving practice for the first time since Wimby exactly a week before his first tournament back.. really good timing! Pulling out of the SF at Wimby was a bloody smart decision from him! :cool: Would have loved to see him lift the 3rd title there but at a cost of possibly shutting down the season after that? Yeah nah thanks :-D

Injured as he was, it was better to bow out before a semi than have to do it before the final. That would have been an absolute catastrophe in so many ways.

Now really looking forward to the USO.

Agreed. What on earth would be the point of playing Krygios with an abdominal tear and no serve. The result would have been a loss and a larger tear which takes longer to heal. Made no sense to continue as much as he and all his fans wanted him to be able to.
Even if he could have beaten Nick, no way could he contest a final against Novak in that condition. Baffles me how anyone can doubt his decision.
I just hope he can remain healthy now for the rest of the year and compete as he would like to.

For reasons known only to Nike, the high-end Atomic green top has not been released in the States.

Perhaps you have a European friend who would be willing to help you. As I write this, the top is available in XS from the Nike.com Europe.
