I have a date with Rafa at the RNA for 5 days starting 13th September. :laughing: My birthday is on 11th September and this is a birthday gift from my family. I hope Rafa will give me another birthday present by claiming his 5th USO title on my birthday. I haven't stopped smiling since they told me what my birthday present will be this year.

octobrina, I shall be seeking your advice on where the Nadals restaurants are. I've already been to the Tatel in Madrid. If possible we will seek out the building site of his mansion which is in progress.

1) Rafa has two restaurants in Madrid. His company (partially owned by Rafa) opened a new Italian restaurant called TOTO in March this year. It’s located next to Tatel.

2) He doesn’t own restaurants in Mallorca outside his sports centre/academy in Manacor. He also has Tatel in the island of Ibiza.

3) Restaurant Sa Punta owned by the extendend Nadal family is located on the beach near Cala Bona, about 10 km / 6 miles from Porto Cristo.

4) The small coastal town of Porto Cristo, where he lives and is building his mansion is located about 13.8 km / 8.6 miles from the centre of Manacor. To see the building site of his seafront mansion, you have to go to the beach and look at the opposite shore of the bay. You can also see his yacht from the beach. Its docking place is at the Nautical Club.

Yes. My husband has been arranging the stay with the RNA Staff, but they stressed that whilst they will do all they can for us to meet Rafa they can't gaurantee it. I totally understand that. I am looking forward to the museum most of all. I want to see all those trophies I lost sleep over and got a few more grey hairs from in one place! :love:

Its looked like that to me both before and after his Cincinnati match. He isn’t serving with power and his customary grunt is missing (as it was against Coric) I won’t feel reassured that he’s ready for the USO until that returns.

@clayqueen for your RNA visit, go to the gym every morning... you can surrender your room keycard and they'll give you the gym access card if you are staying at RNA. Except Sundays, Rafa is at the gym daily. you can DM this Fran for timings. I hope you have a wonderful b'day and a great year ahead:)

Thanks. I'm one of those people who likes to be in the background; I don't like pushing myself forward but hubby is the exact opposite so I'm sure he'll drag me kicking and screaming into the gym if there is a chance Rafa would be there and he will ask him for a selfie. :laughing:

Real Madrid manager’s son & assistant Davide Ancelotti visited Rafa’s sports centre/academy and met Toni Nadal, who is a FC Barcelona fan :):

The extended Nadal family is "split" over which football team they support - Real Madrid or FC Barcelona. Rafa’s uncle (Toni’s brother) Miguel Angel Nadal played for FC Barcelona, but Rafa and his father are Real Madrid fans. :)
