Nadal getting married might bring on a 2 year romp of dominance!

Nadal is the type to perform best when his anxiety is low. getting married just might bring out the best tennis in him.

BUT, i don't see him playing once he becomes a father...

Nadal will be a force until 2021.
After that year is unlikely he will win a Major, and depend of the circumstances, I think he will retire around RG 2022.

Gorgeous picture. The Beethoven anchored behind them as the boys dine out at a seafront restaurant at sunset. Tough life, eh? :p

Simulation of the new superyacht that is being built Rafa Nadal

A true floating hotel, conceived to enjoy long nautical crossings with all imaginable luxuries. This will be the new superyacht of Rafa Nadal , the substitute of the 'Beethoven', which is on sale for 2.6 million euros. 23.9 meters long (approx. 80 ft) and 12 meters wide define the characteristics of this power catamaran that is currently being manufactured by Sunreef Yatchs. It will be delivered throughout the first half of 2020 and its price is kept secret, although it will move in a range that fluctuates between 3.5 and 5 million euros, depending on the equipment included in the ship.

Rafa Nadal made the decision to acquire a luxury catamaran after the experience he enjoyed last year, when he embarked on another similar boat of the same company on a family trip through the Bahamas. There he was captivated by the excellence of the ship and decided to acquire one. But not just any one, because the new 80 Sunreef Power of the tennis player will be of a superior dimension. In fact, it is the first to manufacture Sunreef Yachts of these characteristics, and will be customized according to the preferences of the world number 2, which will sail on board a real luxury resort with capacity to accommodate up to 12 passengers in its seven cabins , equipped with every imaginable comfort.

One of the star characteristics of the catamaran will be the master suite that can be configured in the bow section of the main deck. With a double bed that overlooks the foredeck , a bathroom with walk-in shower, dressing room and desk, the suite will be bathed in sunshine from the skylight glass. The same space can also be used to install a large lounge with ample seating and access to the foredeck.

According to the information published on the website of the construction company, the 80 Sunreef Power incorporates classic stainless steel gates, covered with teak soles, large bastions and subtle lighting environment. Its huge garage combined with an aft platform allows you to take your boat, numerous water toys and jet skis wherever you go. Easy to access from the lounge, the yacht's full beam bow terrace is a spacious and relaxing refuge with an incredible amount of space for sunbathing and resting. The huge flybridge of 80 Sunreef Power offers enough space to house a whirlpool, a bar with a sink and generous seats everywhere.

The dimensions of the catamaran, much higher than usual, will force reforms at the Porto Cristo dock where it will be moored, in order to guarantee the maneuverability and parking of a ship that will of course attract attention from the first day. Anyway, the 'Beethoven' was already the largest yacht of those who were moored in Porto Cristo.

Simulation of the interior of the super yacht by Rafa Nadal

Rafa Nadal has been for years as a great fan of nautical cruises and enjoy the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, where he usually travel at least once a year in order to disconnect from the busy season in the professional circuit of the ATP The tennis player has also invited his closest friends to excursions on the Mediterranean Sea on board the 'Beethoven' on more than one occasion. Now you have a new 'toy' to boast, a catamaran of extreme luxury with the can travel long distances thanks to its two tanks of 5,000 and 8,000 liters of gasoline. A unique yacht for a unique tennis player, the best of all time on clay.

Rafa Nadal will also have the opportunity to premiere the catamaran coinciding with his marriage to Xisca Perelló, scheduled for next autumn, although the date is not yet official, and will undoubtedly become one of the great social events of the year. A honeymoon aboard the 80 Sunreef Power would undoubtedly be an idyllic landscape for the new Mallorcan couple ... and for anyone, of course.

I think, playing in Cincinniti will depend on his performance in Canada. Last year, he withdrew from Cincinnati after winning the Canada Masters.

He still has a chance to end the season as number 1. It will depend on his performances in the north america hard court season.
Do you know if he will play in Paris Bercy and in London after his wedding?

Nothing concrete has been said yet, but it has been rumored that Rafa will only play Laver Cup, Davis Cup, and ATP Finals after USO. That seems wise to me. He should focus on staying healthy and peaking for the ones that count in Melbourne, Paris, London, and New York.

He looks to be ready to go. I bet he is extra motivated from the final and Djoker catching up. I see Rafa finishing really strong this year and ig he wins USO he will end the year at number one?

Could he even snag a WTF?

These big 3 keep on motivating the others to push up one more level.

Rafa and Maria look like they're part of the royal family, greeting grandparents or aunts and uncles with big hugs and chitchat out at the car like they've been doing this all their life. ;)

Weird thing about your post Octo. On my computer the videos of the restaurant are coming up as videos of Rafa playing Thiem yet when haqq quoted your post, on his quote I can see the octopus.

For fifteen years, after Wimbledon, Rafa has gone out on his boat with his buddies while Maria spends some time at a beach resort with her friends. This year the Spanish media are losing their minds about the upcoming wedding and are calling the vacays bachelor and bachelorette parties. :D Oh well, at least there are a couple good pictures. I can just imagine how crazy the coverage is going to get as the date draws closer.

Rafa Nadal's bachelor party: with his friends, on his yacht and in Sardinia
elEconomista.es

AAENsn6.img

Rafa Nadal and his girlfriend count the days to say "yes, I want" and for now they have already enjoyed their respective bachelor parties. While the bride spent a few days of sun and beach in Malaga with the company of her friends, the tennis player traveled to Sardinia with his friends on his yacht.
The group spent a few days in Italian waters aboard the Beethoven, the ship that Nadal bought in 2016 and just put on sale for 2.6 million euros, almost half a million less than it cost. The reason? A new whim: a luxury catamaran valued at 5 million.
Rafa Nadal had a great time with his friends, who chatted, ate and laughed for hours. In addition, they took a dip and enjoyed some rides aboard jet skis, a plan that they repeat every year in Mallorca.
In addition, Rafa Nadal was encouraged to practice diving and prepared thoroughly in an auxiliary boat, as Hola shows.

meri-perello-t.jpg

The last winner of Roland Garrós has not been the only one to 'escape' a few days with his friends before saying "yes, I want". His girlfriend Xisca, Mery for friends, began her bachelorette party last Thursday, when five of her best friends took her by surprise to the Costa del Sol, according to Last Hour.
The tennis player and his girlfriend will take another step in their relationship after 14 years of dating. They are very discreet and jealous of their private life so there are very few details that have transcended the link, which will take place in early autumn.

https://www.hola.com/actualidad/20190718146116/meri-perello-despedida-soltera-malaga/

Countdown to the wedding of Rafa Nadal and Mery Perelló has begun. The young Mallorcan has been 'abducted' by her friends this Thursday to enjoy her bachelorette party, as reported by the newspaper Ultima Hora, one of the most prominent on the island. The group of young people, consisting of the Spanish tennis player's girlfriend and five intimates, has been seen at the Palma de Mallorca airport wearing different accessories of this type of celebration. Despite the discretion that characterizes her, the young woman has not refused to wear this type of ornament, which has even been punctured in one of her ribbons. (*I have no idea what this google translation means! o_O Any Spanish speakers that can help?)

Walking through the airport with their bags and beach bags, Mery and her friends have stopped to have a drink in one of the places, at which time they have been animated and taking pictures with different objects such as glasses or hats, before putting Heading to Malaga. The city that saw Picasso was born has been the chosen destination to enjoy a few days of sun, beach and fun, although it is possible that from there they move to another point of Andalusian geography.

It was last February when HELLO! announced the engagement between Rafa Nadal and his girl for fourteen years for this month of autumn. How could it be otherwise, the Balearic island that saw them be born will be the perfect scenario in which both will say 'yes, I want'. With this link, they will put the finishing touch to their love story, which has always been marked by the discretion that characterizes both.

A lovely write-up of the royal visit from the local Mallorcan newspaper (properly translated) and reposting of a picture I think Rafa and Mery should have framed for posterity. :)

On Friday 26 July, King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia paid a private visit to the Rafael Nadal Academy and Sports Centre in Manacor.

They were greeted at the entrance by Maria Francisca Perelló and inside by Rafa's parents who gave them a tour of the centre's installations where, after morning practice was over, they were joined by Rafa for refreshments in the cafeteria.

After the visit to the academy and sports centre, they all went on to have a three-hour long lunch (of all kinds of fish and seafood) at the Nadal family owned restaurant, Sa Punta, near Cala Bona (Son Servera).

Both Rafa's and Maria Francisca's parents were present in the group of 16, as were uncle Miguel Angel Nadal (co-owner of the restaurant), Rafa's maternal grandparents and paternal grandmother and his sister Maribel. While all the others said their goodbyes and got into cars at the main entrance, Rafa and Mery (who had arrived in the back of his parents' KIA car) and another young couple sped off in a launch to continue their afternoon on his yacht Beethoven, which was anchored offshore in front of the restaurant.

You should cut back on your buffalo wings for a bit and save your money to go visit it. From reports from VBers who've gone it's quite something to see and apparently the hotel accommodations are great too and it's a short trip by bus to the harbor at Porto Cristo which is beautiful and you might get to see Rafa's yacht too after watching one of his amazing practice sessions. :)
