Nadal always bite his trophy in front of the camera. However, he doesn’t do it for the runner-up trophy. He should be consistent b/c if not, people will assumed he doesn’t want the runner-up trophy.

BTW, I’m totally against biting the trophy(ewwwww!), but he should have respect for the runner-up trophy too.

It’s still a trophy. I don’t believe any players would put all of his runner-up trophies in the garage but all of this winner trophies in his fancy room. Would you do that?

lol, it's not about where he keeps them, it's about biting them. Find me pics of Fed kissing his runner-up trophies!

Roger doesn't kiss every single winner trophies. But Nadal bite every single one that he won, including small, insignificant tourney(atp 250). He even take a bite out of the World Cup trophy when he has nothing to do with it. For him not to do it in London with a tourney at this magnitude tells us that he doesn't care about his trophy.

I amazes me that he even bite a trophy in an exo., but wouldn't do it with a much more important tourney(WTF). To him, runner-up trophy has no value.

Aw thanks CMM, what a nice picture! Awfully nice trophy too for an exo! haha.

Saw the vid. It's not a slam, but sweet revenge that too on hard court, and soda was playing really well. Vamos! Man I hope Rafa has enough time to recover and come back healthy and fresh. :(

LOL. Or you can be Nadal and have both, no? No need to trade, he won both exo AND managed to make the finals at the WTF. Beating Muzza in an epic semifinal. On a surface that has always given him trouble and one that ****s claimed was designed for Andy. This after 5 weeks of not competing. Lets not forget that he took a set off of an on-fire Fed. You fail, now stop trolling.

You just don’t get my point. What I’m asking is would you rather have be a WTF finalist or win exo title? No need to get into details.

Nadal biting exo trophy simply means he treasure it more than the WTF finalist trophy.

For guys like Fed and Nadal it's not the same as for other players....

For Tsonga and Baghdatis being a slam finalist is a great achievement.

But this is Rafa’s very first WTF final, when he was winless last year. That’s a huge jump. This is not like a Roddick 3rd trip to the W final in 2009, where he was crushed after another loss. Big difference.

To call it a "loser trophy" for making the final is wrong. If that’s the way fans picture it, then no director in any tourney would have handed out runner-up trophy.

So now you have a problem with Cyan calling it a loser's trophy? It's not about importance really, otherwise he would have bit his first Wimbledon runner up trophy in 2007, no? Nadal has stated that Wimbledon has always meant more to him than any other tournament. I'm quite calm, it's just your argument is so silly.

I is sorry about the seriousness, I am sorta backed up at school and Rafa losing last week was sorta a bummer. Normally come here to de-stress, but the trolls have other plans.:evil: I'm trying to warm up to Rogi again, but the treads on here only make me like him less. it's okay laughing/happy Rafa has cheered me up! I also re-watched his match against Muzza which he was so good in!

I like both Murray and Djoker, I hope they stay consistent, I was starting to believe in Muzzah, but he failed against Fed in RR. Neither of them take pressure too well. Rafa was so sweet after his match with Murray he was all like he'll do really well, don't put pressure on him! I was like aw <3 Enough rafa love for today. Glad to know i'm still your favrit poser senti.

I would also like to add serendip to my list of favrit posers!

Just sayin' not to get caught up in it :) You did jump on Federer last month when you thought he was dissing Nadal's USO win. Just makes me lol seeing Nadal fans quick to defend his misquoted 'tiredness excuse' in the presser, yet the next misquoted soundbite that comes along for Federer they'll be all over it. Neither **** group ever learns that the threads just rile each other up for the next non-controversy.

haha, i also come here to destress, which is why i ignore the trolls and only post memorabilia (lol) from the old CYGS tread. That tread really helped me de-stress although it worked up messarger and a lot of others.

Ignore them trolls.

Dippy, you de-stress me, too. You are like a valium or Prozac with no ill side-effects :D
