"My main objective, the most immediate goal, is to play well during the American claycourt season..."

Rafa gave the interview in Spanish and that's not what he said.

He was referring to the speed of the courts in IW and Miami. ;)

This is what he said

oh I thought he was injured again.

LOL. Me too. :)

Back to 100% fitness it looks like/maybe(hopefully).

Hmmm. Interesting.

Is he back to 100% or not? He had stated he was 100% earlier this year, then after losing, said he wasn't. He also stated he wouldn't play a tournament (wimbledon) if he wasn't 100%, yet played several lower level tournaments right after, even though he had stated he wasn't 100%.

But it will probably take him a few tournaments to get back to 100% tennis form.

and what would "100% tennis form" look like in Nadal's case? When he is winning? or whenever convenient?

CMM,

You believe Nadal is a doper. Any doper is not worth having their picture in here. So stop!

So, Nadal plays DC again? Good news for the Federer camp!

Nadal decides to go for 'most DC wins of all time', rather than win some more Slams.

Nadal is pretty good with the football. His uncle was a Barcelona and national team footballer for many years so Nadal possibly played a lot of football as a teenager.

He should be the favourite for the French.I see him getting that.

Idk about that...with all his injuries he shouldn't be a heavy favorite going in. If Djokovic can come close to the form he had last year he can be a huge favorite. In Federer's case with all the pressure off him he will be extremely dangerous, and IMO probably the most dangerous player heading into Roland Garros

This sounded better in your head right?

What do you mean? I think him playing Davis Cup, coming back in Indian Wells, scheduling to play Barcelona and Madrid, playing Queens, playing DC again, are all ridiculous decisions. Apparently he takes DC very very seriously, because clearly the season's schedule is too crowded, but he can still play Davis Cup, one of the biggest non-events in tennis today.

You think Nadal is the only player that can beat Fed at a slam? Wrong. Del Potro showed it can be done.

You don't have to. There are plenty of us doing the liking for you, so feel free to just be your jealous self (I know you're jealous, don't deny it )

I'd like his girlfriend (and body), yes. :evil:But same for Soderling, Djokovic, Lopez, and Verdasco, who I like, though I think Dasco may well be juicing.

I was referring more to Murray, but yeah, Nadal is a bit of one too. But my favorite player in style alone are the Ferrer(o)s.

He's not really.

His game never has any dead moments like Murray's or Simon's.
He just grinds a lot, and has that ability to turn defensive into offensive. Oh, and add a lot of topspin to that, too. There's not really a lot of middle ground when it comes to Nadal, so I wouldn't classify him as a pusher.
