Sorry, I didn’t understand at first but then I gave it some thought, and maybe you are right nobody has done this in the past 33 years.

clay - 12
grass - 2
hardcourt - 5

i think this feat is unlikely to be achieved by the other two and will remain untouched for some time.........not too sure anyone from the future gen has the game to do it........
Has anybody else won 3 straight slams on different surfaces in same season?

I doubt anyone other than a couple of obsessed tennis fanatics online really give much of a sh*t about these worthless stats :-D
Come on mike, stats are not worthless (although some fans do tend to emphasise the ones that favour their player and ignore the ones that favour their player's biggest rivals).

Nadal is not as consistent as Federer and Djokovic, or he wouldn't be 100 weeks as #1 away from them.
YE#1 tells the true story and they all have 5. Weeks can be racked up by luck or at weird times. Venus comes to mind with only 11 weeks at #1 while winning 7 slams, while you have players like Wozniacki that had WAY more. (Even Dinara Safina has 26).

Weeks are much more precise. They calculate the ranking 52 times a year and not just once.

Djokovic had 6 consecutive years with over 11,000 ATP points (2011-16), Federer 4 consecutive years (2004-07), Nadal never had them consecutively.

You forgot about Mats Wilander.
he was the last one before rafa to do it.......connors was another one and there was one more player i don't remember who that was, only four players could achieve this feat in men's tennis history........

but what is up for debate is how legit can you consider the same feats from connors and wilander........connors never won the original clay slam roland garros and wilander never won the original grass slam wimbledon.......so we are left with only rafa and one more player from the 60s or something.......such a stupendous feat.......this great feat deserves way more global attention than what it got.......

now see this - it will only get better with just one more wimbledon title for rafa, it would mean three slams on all three surfaces - only one in tennis history.......

Nadal is not among the top5 longest reigning #1 since 1973.

Federer 310 weeks
Sampras 286
Djokovic 282
Lendl 270
Connors 268
Nadal 209

Take all the players from 1877 to 1972 and he is certainly not in the top10 of the longest reigning #1 in history.

Neither is a player that wins 21 AO's and nothing else  they both have a slam where they have 1 title, and Djokovic has one where he's won 5, and Rafa has one that he's won 4. You literally have no argument.
1) they both have a slam where they have 1 title, and djoko has one where he's won 5, and rafa has one he's won 2. you literally have no argument
2) the only problem is nadal's closer to definition of that player who wins 21 AO's and nothing else than both fed and djoko, but you can't accept this

On their respective second best and third best slams Djoko only leads Nadal by 1 in each. Djoko has 5 wimby to Nadal's 4 Us and Djoko has 3 Us to Nadal's 2 wimby. It's not a significant difference. The difference is just due to 1 slam that is wimby18. That is why Wimby18 hurts so much as a nadal fan. Nadal would have had same slam distribution as djoko if not for that dreaded tournament. The difference in distribution is not so much. On the other hand Federer's distribution is the best.

That tournament was one of the most epic slams in recent years. :)

He knows  and Nadal being so dominant at RG to the point where he's still only lost 2 matches there to this day, makes up that difference and then some.

Which is yet to be proved.

One valid point is that the comparison should be made to his own contemporaries first. You can't be the best ever if you're not the best in your era first.
Agreed, but I wasn't making a comment on who's goat.

I think there is little doubt the players play closer to the same brand of tennis on all surfaces now. Even within Fedal's careers there have been changes.

Interesting, though, to hear for instance Andy and Novak speaking of Medvedev as difficult to play against. What they are saying is Med doesn't hit the same shot over and over with the same amount of topspin, which is what they're used to facing.

I hope more players will start using different strokes and tactics to take the game further.

But it's not proved that it is due to surfaces, strings, etc.

It may just be a different (more effective?) approach to the game.

I think there is a chance djokovic's distribution is identical to federer when he is say 20 but at 17 it's very similar to what Federer's was at 17. 7-5-4-1(Federer) vs 8-5-3-1

Care to name the player who has won 20 RGs and nothing else?
2 Wimbledons, 1 AO and 0 WTF is pretty pathetic for someone who's supposedly the GOAT. Even if you add the US Open (or more like the Berrettini Open) he's still got a total of 7 tournaments from 4/5 biggest tournaments combined.

The guy is the clay GOAT and nothing else, he can win 5 more French Opens and it won't change that.
