This question seems to have an obvious answer.
But is it so obvious?
Djoko's reason to stay on tour is to pile up slams. And if he sees he can't do that anymore with the likes of Alcaraz, Sinner, and some orhers that could soon beat him regularly? Will he continue?
For Rafa, he can very well time his squedule to catchup a couple more of his favorite slam.

I just want djoko being able to play everything again now that it seems there would be a fiercer battle for titles

Nadal I’m almost certain. Everything about his demeanor suggests that he knows the end is near. I think he’ll give it his best shot in 2023 and try to play the Olympics in 24, but after that I really wouldn’t be surprised if he hangs it up and focuses on his family.

When Joker will be defeated next season in Melbourne and at the All England Club, the Serbian wolf will stop howling for good.

I don't think Nadal will play for that long after his kid is born. Family seems to be a huge part of his life and most athletes that play after having children say that they want their kid to see and remember them doing their thing in their sport. I don't think Nadal can play for another 4-5 years.

I’m not sure he’ll play another 4-5 months.

I see Nadal playing a very limited schedule in 2023.. Probably 2-3 slams and a few masters. Then he will probably play the 2024 FO followed by the Olympics and then retire. May play doubles in Olympics with Alcaraz as his partner.

Novak can go on for another 4 years unless he suffers some major injury in between. The slam race is his to win.

nadal by a factor of a few years - easily.
djokovic still improving his game, could easily play till 40-41(his goal) and retire on top of the sport(his goal).

I have a really tough time imagining Nadal playing after 2024. If he's still in the top 5 at the end of 2023 hell give it a shot at 2024, but if he isn't especially if he doesnt win the FO I think 2023 is his last year.

Djokovic still looks very strong, I see him playing until 2025/2026.

The underestimating of Nadal's future is a common pattern from late September to early April for how many years now? I wonder when people will ever learn. Of course at some point is has to be over for him, just like for Federer, but the situation right now is no proof for anything. Not for how many years he will continue and much less so for his chances at next year's RG.

No, Nadal will play until Paris 2024 or even until RG 2025.
