Nadal says he is still in pain, knee not 100%

G.O.A.T.
He reveals some facts like his PRP treatment in 2009, which even his die hard fans seemingly don't know about.

Miracle Recovery ? I'm still in pain, says Nadal

My knee still not 100%, says Rafael Nadal

Nadal said his team had tried several treatments, but nothing worked fully. "My knee is not 100 per cent perfect," he said. "I often play with a lot of pain, but the pain doesn't limit my movements. That's the most important thing.

I'm free when I am playing. Even if I have pain, I'm able to control the pain, something I wasn't able to do in the past because of which I couldn't play."

I thought everyone knew of his PRP treatment in 2009.
I would be shocked if his knee was ever 100% again, however as he says, there is a difference from being in pain and limiting his movement.

he does not move anywhere near like he used to.

some of his amazing speed is gone for good. the movement is significantly diminished.

it is a little too easy to see.

That's nice and all to know.
But hopefully from here on in there are no more "well the knee is in pain but I don't want to use that as an excuse why I lost" or "now is not the time to talk about the knee, just congratulate the opponent".

so he doesnt move as well but now he is the best at adapting to the conditions and the other players game is this correct?

awww poor nadalito...

So what's Ralph's point in doing that? Is he making excuses for winning almost every tournament he entered this year?

so he loses in the final and suddenly his knee flared up a little?

omg... this guys is a ____ (4 letter word)

He always says the same, and the outcome is always the same: he ends up kicking everybody's asses.

I wonder if he ever gonna stop excusing himself all the time like this. It gets boring.

One poster not too long ago said something like: "Who cares as long as he keeps on winning... Winning is the main priority." What that particular poster said... is it true? What do Nadal fans think?

The PRP treatment has not been a secret.

My understanding is that Nadal mentioned he had pain in his knee before during N. American swing. His saying his knee is not 100% has been a constant all year.

If Nadal was 100% pain free he could even take a few games of Snake Plissken. Think about the possibilities.

Why does this come out now? Quite a co-incidence, he lost the Beijing final, but now he was injured. Why is it that every time he loses or almost, he needs to state he was playing injured? Fact is, Djokovic outplayed him and was the better man on that day, as simple as that. Guess we'll hear this a lot during the final sprint indoor as Rafa hates indoor.

I totally agree, as long as he wins 18 slams, 6 WTF's, 7 Wimbledons and is declared GOAT at TW who cares.

Another aspect of his shameless gamesmanship.
Tomorrow you will see him running like a hungry rabbit after a carrot.

Sorry, but no matter what Nadal does, he'll never be as great as this guy-

sunny_deol2.jpg

If this guy played tennis....
umm...well he does not actually need to play tennis, he just has to "think" about playing tennis and the grand slam would be his.
No being, alive or dead, earthling or spaceling, can return the forehands of "dhai kilo ka hath" of Sunny paaji....
I think if there is a doubles match with Fed-Nadal in one team and Sunny paji in the other team (well, he can actually play doubles without a partner! ), Nadal Federe would win ....
would win the sympathy of onlookers for the tornedo they would be hit with....

You got the solution absolutely right!
Now, get it couriered to Mallorca massage camp.
Or, better still, catch a massage girl of your choice on the forum and give the delivery responsibility to her.

Too bad, my favorite one is busy creating dup accounts to follow Nadal on twitter to take up the delivery responsibility :(

Nadal-Federer didn't show up for the said doubles match and gave Sunny Deol a walkover because someone showed them this before the match :

Welcome back dude. Where were you all these days? :)

you're clearly delusional!

anyone who saw his match against Dogo today, regardless of the scoreline, saw that Nadal's movement was hampered!

Fact is, he was asked the question, in a press conference

Q: You say you have not found the key to treatment, how do you recover? This is not something you do all the things a manifestation of a comprehensive result?
A: I do a lot of things, we all the time trying to find a solution. I mean, since I return to my knees since not one hundred percent recovery. But I feel very good on the knee, because even though I feel pain for many days, but that does not limit my movement. This is the most important. I can play without any restrictions, in the play when you can feel very comfortable.
Although I feel pain, but I was able to control the pain. In the past I could not control the situation, so I was unable to play.
But my feeling is that I hope can be further improved. But now, I'm glad I was able to play. Since my return from injury, I was able to play all I want to play the tournament, and I feel good.

He said this from the beginning of his comeback. He never said it was healed.

The hate is appalling...

but funny too:).

Welcome back dude. Where were you all these days? :)

Thanks mate. Work and life kept me very busy.

You see, my head is not inside any player's rear (as is the case with many massage women and oxygen molecules here). I have a life ;-);-)

Anyways, jokes apart. How have you been?
Got a job?

This is why Nadal is the most despicable player on tour. Even Djokovic and his BS doesn't compare to this.

If you read correctly, you'll also notice that he clearly states that it doesn't affect him at all when he plays his matches and he moves freely. It's therefore not used as an excuse....

Just saying his knee isn't 100% isn't that strange. FFS, I'm sure most players' knees/backs/etc. are not 100%. It doesn't mean it affects them while they play matches.

And in his interview, he very clearly states that he has no problems whatsoever playing, he moves freely, is not hampered and could play all he wanted, etc.

So where does he use it as an excuse?

so he loses in the final and suddenly his knee flared up a little?

omg... this guys is a ____ (4 letter word)

Perhaps you should read the interview first. He never says his knee flared up nor that his knee was any factor in his matches.

Hating is easy, reading.....apparently not so much.

It's chronic tendonitis; it would've been more weird / implausible had he said his condition is 100% better.
