Nadal should get rid of that backhand.

Nadal is naturally a right and has developed an insane forehand with his left hand. Maybe he should develop a sick right handed forehand like most right handed players. Wont that be sick? A player ripping forehands of both wings.

Great. Now he can look like a dumbass when he is caught switching hands and grips when someone hits it to the other side and he gets passed

It would be perfectly possible and it wouldn't worsen his reaction time if he had his right hand in the same position as he currently has it on his backhand, but I don't see the point. He has an outstanding backhand and there's no way that he could develop a right-handed forehand as good as that at this stage in his career.

yeah thats the only thing, he has matured to much as player to change it now but with the way nadal uses that right hand to tork the ball, i would not have been suprised if he could have developed a forehand on that wing

I'm sure he can hit a forehand with his right hand just fine... it won't be more effective though because he won't have the time to do that. What he has going on right now is fine, big forehand, powerful backhand. He could use a flatter forehand for hard courts though but nobody can have everything.

a 2 handed backhand is almost entirely like a off handed forehand with the support of ur dominating hand, just with a different grip, there would be almost no gain in switching.

With one hand you can get way more racket head speed and therefore more spin

I don't see why it would take any time away to switch from a left forehand to a right forehand. You have to switch your grip from doing a left forehand to a 2-handed backhand as well. The caveat is that he would still have to volley with one hand only, so he would either have to volley right or left-handed only, depending on which he preferred.
