Anybody who finish year end number one with 2 slam will always be in his prime, you can say not his peak but not prime lol
Ranking is a relative measure, the tour as a whole was much weaker in the later years

So the version which was losing in Slams to Blake, Youzhny, Gonzalez, Muller etc was better than the 2011-12 version which made 5 Slam finals in a row and was losing only to Djokovic, the goat in his prime form?Im saying exactly that.
Everyone knows his best years were pre 2010.
Just because he won important tournaments after then, doesnt mean he was still the best version of himself.
Go look at videos from 2006 and compare with 2011 if you dont believe me.
Of course don't you know, those losses were high quality losses while three slam loss were to inferior playersSo the version which was losing in Slams to Blake, Youzhny, Gonzalez, Muller etc was better than the 2011-12 version which made 5 Slam finals in a row and was losing only to Djokovic, the goat in his prime form?
Yeah now tell why didn't Rafa never made single hc slam final or yec during his prime years of 2005-2008Ranking is a relative measure, the tour as a whole was much weaker in the later years
Tour was weaker, learn the answer and move onSo the version which was losing in Slams to Blake, Youzhny, Gonzalez, Muller etc was better than the 2011-12 version which made 5 Slam finals in a row and was losing only to Djokovic, the goat in his prime form?
2010-2011 Nadal was the best one for me. His 2010 season was insane and bar Djokovic hitting his absolute peak 2011 would of been better. So the version which was losing in Slams to Blake, Youzhny, Gonzalez, Muller etc was better than the 2011-12 version which made 5 Slam finals in a row and was losing only to Djokovic, the goat in his prime form?

Nadal may be goat as u say but he was nowhere near prime in 2011. Not even close. So the version which was losing in Slams to Blake, Youzhny, Gonzalez, Muller etc was better than the 2011-12 version which made 5 Slam finals in a row and was losing only to Djokovic, the goat in his prime form?
Nadal from 2010-2013 was better on HC than younger Nadal for me. His Clay level was higher when younger thoughNadal may be goat as u say but he was nowhere near prime in 2011. Not even close.
Yes i deffo agree.Nadal from 2010-2013 was better on HC than younger Nadal for me. His Clay level was higher when younger though
It’s a no brainer USO10 Nada beats any younger Nadal at the USO. His 2013 version was great tooYes i deffo agree.
Us2010 beats Us 2013 as well. Us 2010 Nadal was hitting his groundies as well as ever returning brilliantly and serving like Ivanisevic. some mix that. It’s a no brainer USO10 Nada beats any younger Nadal at the USO. His 2013 version was great too
Nadal certainly was at his best then. The serve was ridiculous and really showed how incredible it would be if you added A top serve to a elite baseliner.Us2010 beats Us 2013 as well. Nadal is primarily clay court specialist with very high (but occasional) ceiling on hard/Grass court. He was never consistent force outside of clay.
Yes, just 5 straight Wimbledon finals and going deep in most HC tournaments, no biggie!! Ah, the heavy load of a keyboard warrior![]()
Bs, the level of Rafa in 2018wimbledon at the age of 32 is enough to prove how good grass court player he isFollowed by 6 losses in a row to 100+ ranked mugs at Wimbledon. Clay courter always gonna Clay courter..
Are you like other Rafa fans who don't count 2011,2012,2013,2017,2018 and 2019 non prime years for Rafa?Yes, just 5 straight Wimbledon finals and going deep in most HC tournaments, no biggie!! Ah, the heavy load of a keyboard warrior![]()

I just asked the question abouth this issueWhat do they have to do with what I said and his statement being wrong? How many players made 5 Wimbledon finals and 2 semis and have 4 US Opens?
