@DIMI_D Thanks :D

Still stinging huh? :D

It never did :D

A much worse kit, hands down

Exactly.

If Djokovic doesn't reverse this by the end of their careers this stat will maybe be the strangest one of the Big 3 era because there is no way

Nadal slaying isn't strange at all

Nadal having 4 USO's and 1 more than Djokovic is both impressive and a little surprising when you really think about it, and see Djokovic has made more finals at the USO than anyone in the Open Era. Nadal deserves some recognition for this one up he has over Djokovic though, because outside of their favorite Slams Djokovic slays 11 to 7. :happydevil:

How does Nadal "own" Djokovic in slams?
Barring Djokovic's 2 withdrawals when he was 18-19yo, the h2h is 8-7. (0-2, 6-2, 0-2, 2-1)
8-7 in completed matches isn't exactly "owning" lol.

Especially when more than 50% of these 8-7 were on Nadal's best slam. Djokovic has gone deep every year in RG since 2006 (only exception: 3rd round in 2009) and lost 6x against him. In comparison, Nadal has lost many times early in AO and Wimbledon. He has missed a huge number of opportunities to play Djokovic in AO/Wimbledon finals and semifinals. FI who would've won potential djokodal australian open finals in 2020 and 2021? Wimbledon 2019?

Nadal has 1 more USOpen and 1 more Canada Open but he is owned on every other HC big events.
1-9 AO
0-5 WTF
3-5 IW
0-6 Miami
1-2 Cincinnati
1-4 Shanghaï / HC Madrid
0-5 Paris

5-12 in slams, 10-31 in Masters/WTF

There's hardly been competition at the Canada Open the last 2 editions...

I note that since Djokovic turned his career around beginning in 2011, they both have 3 Us opens and are tied 1-1 H2H.

Yessss this is also very important :D

Lol if it takes him nearly to 2022 when the tour is dead and Rafa is 35 and declined, it really won't matter much to me. We all know outlastovic will outlast eventually. Yawn :p
I’m sorry but why does 34/35 have a affect ? Nadal was on 9 slams when Djokovic was on 1. Nadal developed faster than anyone in tennis and was phenomenal at 19/20. Why isn’t that used as a excuse ? Djokovic only reached that level at 23. Nadal opened up a 14-4 H2H on Djokovic before then.

Why wasn’t Djokovic as good as Nadal when he was 20 ? Why isn’t Nadal as good as Djokovic at 34 ?

Too be fair he is 2-1 at the USO against Djokovic, the problem is he hasn’t won a set against Djokovic on HC since which is 8 years now
Yes. You can't hide forever. Hopefully both make semis or finals of USopen and no injury for Djokovic. Then the outcome won't even be in question. Do you agree?

My opinion on the 2-1 is this.
In 2010 Nadal was just a better player than Djokovic so he won.
In 2011 Djokovic was the better player so he won.

2013 Djokovic was 4-4 in 3rd set and had 0-40 on Nadals serve then won 1 more game. It was Djokovic being mentally fried from the net touch at RG and Nadal had the mental game over him. Still Nadal was better on the day and won.

Djokovic is miles better on HC and if they met this year it would be a walk

Djokovic has contained Nadal since 2011. Only 1 loss outside clay is that 2013. Rafa was better that tournament. But Novak will whoop him if they face this year. I don't think I am even exaggerating.

Well at least there's still something comforting you can cling onto. For now. If Djokovic ends this year with a 21st Major, 4th US Open and a gold medal... Ouch. Nadal fans would probably end up in this state :
