Well like I said, until there's written proof we can't really know who draws more crowd and who's more popular. I can only assume that the player who's ranked #1 is naturally the more popular, but that's hardly a fact like some claim.

Too much evidence says #1 is not the measure of popularity, and then, how would you measure popularity anyway? The USA? The rest of the world? Online polls? Q-ratings? Messageboards?

Nah, it would be extremely difficult to measure, imo.
