    Well... almost.

Anyone see before the guys stepped out onto court when they were still inside the building walking up the stairs? Nadal gets to the top first, but then instead of moving out of the way for Roger, he starts doing his little boxing dance blocking the way up, almost knocking Roger right down the stairs. I found it rather humorous, I'm sure some of you though will explode into your Nadal's behavior rants.

I saw Federer waiting a couple of steps below the top waiting for Nadal to finish. Then they moved onto the court. I guess my version of ESPN was not as exciting as others's. LOL I must e-mail them and complain.

Nadal had way too much energy for his own good at the beginning. After the coin flip, he nearly fell flat on his face after tripping on his way back to the baseline. Took out a big divot on clay.

    after you sir

But I did notice that twice during the game and once after, Nadal stepped back and let fed go in friont of him. so maybe he had felt a bit bad about earlier!

I wonder why you think that Fed should have stepped out onto the court before Rafa.

Had Federer known at the time just how problematic Nadal was gonna be for him over the next few years he probably wishes it was him doing the throwing!

I didn't see Roger in any particular danger but, my goodness, what if he had been closer and Rafa had sent Roger flying backwards down the stairs sustaining career-ending injuries???

Would the final have been voided or would Rafa have been declared winner by default? ;)

I just wish Federer could have beaten Nadal in FO JUST ONCE, then it would have been proof that he is the greatest. Of course, the Fed fans know it, but even the doubters would have to be convinced if that happened.

No man, it's a shame that she removed it from her profile. It was hilarious for a while nevertheless. I guess when she realized I don't support the likes of those who push people down the stairs, she decided that she couldn't be associated with me.

I also find it hilarious that she quoted and attacked some dude who hasn't posted here since 2008.

It would have been great, but at the end of the day it wasn't a requirement.

Nobody has ever beaten a prime Nadal in a RG semi or final.

Federer's hair was so gross then. Crazy hitting at points during the match though [IMG]

Federer's record against other opponents in 2006 to that point: 44-0, against rafa in 06 to that point: 0-3 o_O
