nadal to not drop a set in clay court season

TTW was truly blessed to have a poster like Halba. He is single-handedly responsible for lighting up everyone's lives.

There's another dearly departed user who lit up our lives as well! :D

The 6th anniversary of the gift that keeps on giving!

GOAT bump again. I cannot believe how many treasures TTW keeps, ...:mad::mad::mad:

There's another old chap, too ... name of asifallasleep, who also lit up our tragic lives with some epic thread/s, must locate them some year.

Funny thing about halba is that there is now a poaster named halba1 who reacts to me just the same way as halba did.

Pretty good clay court season for Rafa though. Won MC and Barcelona for a 10th time at each respective tournament, then followed it up with a win in Madrid, a tournament he's not has as much success at, especially with the altitude. Kind of felt like when he said he was tired but was still going to play Rome that he probably wasn't going to win the tournament. He's got to be the #1 contender to win his 10th French Open, especially with Murray having fallen off a cliff lately, Djokovic is too inconsistent, plus Nadal beat him in straight sets in Madrid, Fed's not playing, and Stan hasn't looked real sharp either.

Given that he's already on the longest ever set winning streak on clay, it would be rather remarkable if he kept it going for 3.5 more tournaments, including a GS.

Of course I wouldn't put it past him, but it seems a lot to ask nonetheless. Sweeping the clay season would be remarkable in itself.

New ATP record for consecutive sets. Not a bad start for Nadal.
Consecutive sets on clay. He is still some way behind the record 44 of Connors according to

Obviously he would break it were he to not drop a set this clay court season (or at least before RG R3). But it is quite something to ask, even of Nadal on clay.
