Good. Grass has not been kind to Rafa over the years, and going from clay to grass and back to clay in such a short period of time spells doom for his body. Skip that crap. It's hardly worth it.

Funny post that as i had never thought about that, and at first laughed reading it, but then it dawned on me there may be some truth in that about Rafa wanting to stop Djokovic and in doing so level up the h2h of course. Not because of the GOAT debate, but him being the only one of the Big 3 to have it i suspect would be a nice cherry on his cake.

So basically you are saying that Nadal can't handle changing of surfaces, even though Wimbledon has become largely a clay court in the 2nd week.

He has more chance on grass because on grass you don't have to run too much, just go for ace and winners like Raonic. On grass the points are quicker. On clay the points are longer and that will wear his body down.

Nadal was anyway skipping Wimbledon. If he is fit he will play Hamburg to prepare for og and try his luck 1 more time on PC.

Wimbledon hasn't been about serve and volley since 2001. Nadal hardly ever served and volleyed, sorry to break it you, mate. In addition, Alcaraz volleys better than Nadal ever did. Di Minaur, Cressy and Muzz also volley better.

Who was better? Zverev was at his very best v Rafa, arguably better than in his match v Alcaraz. I assume you didnt watch the match.
Anyway we will soon see wont we. Much to be excited about no?

Djokovic skipping Wimbledon makes more sense to me, but Nadal? Hes won Gold and hes skipping the most important tournament in the world?
