And pulling out some winners now!
Anyone still think Nalbandian can win this?
And there it goes.
I actually laughed at the fact that the scoreboard showed 'aD' instead of 'Ad'.
Terrible try at a lob. And there goes the game. 5-2 Nadal 1st set.
Nalbandian squandering his chances as usual.
I need a HD feed of this match, please
This is typical. Nadal will beat nalbandian but he loses to zeb. why couldn't it be the other way around? Lol.
In another final, controversy rises again as Serena complains to umpire that Azarenka is deliberately stalling on Serena's serve, I think
His first big match back. You know how his nerves go. But he'll be fine as he plays more.
40-0 to deuce. Brutal Nalbandian.
even the last 2 matches in Brazil have been quite poor though. i mean dropping sets to berloq and whoever the last dude was. not watching this so i dunno if Nadal is playing much better or David is playing badly.
Because Zeballos was actually playing really well and it was the match of his life.
Set Point Nadal.
BRUTAL! This is hard to watch.
So after 37 errors and 2 winners the set is for Nadal.
Nadal is playing better then yesterday, hitting more winners, but Nalby is hitting way too many errors.
Nah, you gotta give the man time. He's been off court for quite awhile and is trying to see if his knee is OK when he moves this way or that.
Picture yourself after a long bout off court and then, finally, back on it again, wondering with every swing if you can totally trust your knee enough to hold up under all circumstances.
Both playing insanely bad.
That has happened before. Forgot which tournament
Incredible stuff from Nadal. Gave Nalby a beatdown in set 1.
Hard to gauge Nadal's level as Nalbandian is playing so badly. Hardly any rallies, just errors.
Not only that - this court is terrible and you can see that neither player feels confident in their movement plus the balls are flying on both of them. They're both missing the court way more than they normally would. Every single player has complained bitterly about the conditions.
Oh lord another bad troll. It's not a beatdown. It's just a match littered with errors.
i know he needs time, bit yesterday he was losing a set to a guy not in the top 100. There was no sign he would be beating nalbandian this bad in the very next match although nalbandian is only ranked in the 90s. But he beat almagro this week.
Hahaha, Nadal is doing more volleys.
I hope this goes to three and they play each other into better form.
I've said it before, I watched the second set of Nalbandian-Bolelli and that was so awful I decided not to watch this match!
I guess the courts play a part in it as we did have some decent matches in Vina del mar.
LOL at this coming from a ******.
How can Nalbandian be playing this bad? That was the most nonchalant dropshot ever
He did pretty well there.
About time Nadal had the penalty...or was it just a warning?
Wow, a lot of people wanting Nadal to lose I guess. No credit to Nadal from anybody on here.
1/2 way decent stream on US stream but ball is hard to see. WOW, Nadal missed a easy backhand pass down the line just like he did against Novak in 2012 Aussie open.
Nice to see umpire standing firm on time warnings and ignoring Perera's whining.
Huh? No way us Nadal fans would wish him poorly.
because Nadal was winning from Nalby's errors.
Another BP for a double break
Nalby takes it. 3-0
This is what happens when Parera can't have 35 seconds between serves. Hopefully the ITF follows suit and applies the rule retroactively, stripping Perera of his 11 stams.
dont know who to support here nadal or nalby im neutral but lets hope it goes to 3 set thriller, otoh serena losing
Nalbandian with his back against the wall, only six games away from losing the match.
Nadal has LOST the killing instinct
don't be a drama queen
A little of that killer instinct back on court now.
Rafa looking really angry on court now.
Nadals backhand is just embarrassing
Nadal's backhand is terrible. Has it ever been this bad in his career?
Where are those people that thought Nadal would win four games tops?
They probably weren't intelligent enough to find their way back to the forums.
Well, that is his weakness so sometimes weaker shots break down all the time. You see this in USTA tennis leagues every day.
